  1. Quite a few tractor manufacturers used the GM 3-71 including Australias Chamberlain in the Super 70 and Super 90 I personally couldn't think of anything worse to spend all day farming on but they sold well and are sort after today Start watching about halfway thru Paul
  2. Not gunna add much here except I have lost a set of duals one night around half past 12 in the morning I found one tyre and some bolts But the spacer and the bits that go along with it were never to be seen Chained the axel up as best I could and crawled on to see the sun rise in the next town a 100 mile further along Everyone is a expert until it happens to them Not saying couldn't of been prevented in my case but I'm not about to shit can someone else when it's all gone horribly wrong Paul

  6. The oil is on the outside, wouldn't that mean it isnt coming from in the exhaust ? Unless the exhaust had a bad leak, but if it did the soot from the exhaust would be evident, and I can't see any Reckon the motor has a oil leak some were and thats were the oil is dripping or getting blown to Paul
  7. You blokes have to much choice in clothing over there We get waist size and long, regular and stout for length Anything else needed we just have the legs taken up or wear a belt to hold bigger pants in place on our hips Have observed in the last day or so just how many different sized people and different fashions there are at Melbourne airport My oh my, I swear some people font give a damn how they look these days Truck paint jobs are becoming very plain in Yanky land these days, no two coloured paint schemes and very little scroll work, New England area seems to buck the trend from what I see on social media Kinda sad but I guess it's all about dollars and cents Paul

  9. A oldy but a goodie A woman was flying from Melbourne to Brisbane ... Unexpectedly, the plane was diverted to Sydney. The flight attendant explained that there would be a delay, and if the passengers wanted to get off the aircraft the plane would re-board in 50 minutes.. Everybody got off the plane except one lady who was blind. A man had noticed her as he walked by and could tell the lady was blind because her Seeing Eye Dog lay quietly underneath the seats in front of her throughout the entire flight. He could also tell she had flown this very flight before because the pilot approached her, and calling her by name, said, 'Kathy, we are in Sydney for almost an hour. Would you like to get off and stretch your legs?' The blind lady replied, 'No thanks, but maybe Max would Like to stretch his legs.' Picture this: All the people in the gate area came to a complete standstill when they looked up and saw the pilot walk off the plane with a Seeing Eye dog! The pilot was even wearing sunglasses. People scattered. They not only tried to change planes, but they were trying to change airlines! True story... Have a great day and remember... ...THINGS AREN'T ALWAYS AS THEY APPEAR. Paul

  11. Is amazing how some vehicles are bad for rust, even dry salt free parts of the world like Australia Reckon a lot of vehicles had rust fitted in the factory in the late 70s early 80s Dunno whether the steel and tin used was sub standard but cars of that era had rust holes within a few years, even Jap Datsuns and the like were junk Paul
  12. Face it Jo Jo, you've got old and saggy and dont have enough megabytes 😉 That's what my Dad used to say for the last 20 years he was alive Dunno whats worse, getting left behind by technology or not giving a damn that I have been left behind Paul

  15. You've done well, would of been a struggle for me, but apart from loading cattle on the odd occasion I never back into anything to load or unload That been said when hauling sugar can I would back into the siding to load and unload the can train bins (wagons) maybe 50 times a day, I had to line the rails up each time qnd that was relatively easy, mindbyou it was in the open with no traffic or onlookers, very different and the truck was a rigid or body truck so not even in the same category You blokes are pretty handy at this stuff Paul

  20. This pretty much spot on, regardless of what we think we know. These days, as in right now will become the good old days for a generation at some point in thier career today We can't blame our respective government's or operators or huge companies, we as everyday people are the clowns that vote people in, that do or do not work for some companies, that do or do not set the standards that all things are done by It is up to us to do the best we can do and teach and inspire those around us to be the best they can be I can guarantee putting someone down and giving them a hard time isn't gunna help anyone Thats almost a rant I have going on there Sorry RD number 6, took your reply and ran it into the ditch Paul
