  1. Not sure how many members there are on bmt but if we all put up a set amount of money say 5000 each then just bought mack from volvo. We could take it back to its roots. Just a dream but it would be awsome.
  2. It belongs to Dickson trucking out of stafford ks. The family also farms and they used to run black ch's with aluminum grain beds always shinny and clean. They bought the cl and did the work themselves I believe. Made it an axel forward and they used two hood to make one. As far as specifics I don't know I used to see the truck at my grandpas shop but I don't see it very often anymore.
  3. Same here there is one on truckpaper that would be perfect
  4. That is a cl with an e9. It's from my part of the country. I posted some pics of it but it was about dark so not that great.
  5. http://www.nextechclassifieds.com/listings/view/884268/. No connection
  6. Do you want an original bunk or will a newer one work? There was one not far from me came off a 76 b model kenworth. Don't remember the size but I can do some checking if you like just pm me
  7. Do the lines surge or just the bed? May be there is air in the cylinder we have to bleed our every once in awhile because the bed goes up jerky. If the lines are jerking around I would say hose or suction. May even check the vent to be sure it's not plugged. As far as the lines go they car suck in on themselves and you might not be able to see it the best way is to feel for soft spots in the lines.
  8. Guy here bought 4 of those a few years back uses the to haul and stockpile manure. They are beasts.

  10. Used roof interior and front side pieces. Came out of our 91 model. You pay the shipping you can have it. 785-623-1413 thanks Matt.
  11. Looks like fun. We just don't have the big shows around here. All we have are some antique tractor and car shows but not that big. I would love to go to some truck shows.
  12. We had an issue with our e7 400. Didn't seem to have power on hills like you say turned the pump up about 10% and still didn't think it pulled like it should. We checked fuel lines etc and checked fuel pressure which was a little low. There is a check valve in our pump that they said is supposed to hold the fuel pressure we took the plug and the spring out and put a small ball bearing behind it to compress the spring more and it seemed to help a lot. I'm sure some guys on here know more about it than me.
  13. Nice looking rig. Got the wheels in my mind turning looks like a fun project
  14. Congratulations and good luck with the new addition.
  15. I had the same problem on a 400 e7. Turned out the radiator cap was bad. If you put a new radiator in it I assume you put a new cap on but never hurts to check the cheap thing first. Bad news if that's not the problem probably have a head issue.
  16. Sure wish I had some cash burning a hole.
  17. A couple scenery pics a couple trucks (Volvo held together with straps at the trailer wash) a big loader no girls in cars but some girls in a building next to where I was loading but no time to head in and take a look.
  18. We run an 18 sp with 442 gears and I have no problem pulling 85000 out of a field. Most of the oilfield trucks around here are 18s as far as gears go I'm not sure what everybody runs but they are both on and off road. I do agree that you need to be Johnny on the spot when shifting but once you get used to it no problem.
  19. I have it on my i phone but the updates aren't putting up the new magazines
  20. Just wondering if anyone has this app. I haven't had a new magazine since vol3 2013
  21. We actually carry these glad hands in all our trucks then we can hook up to anybody's air line and you don't have to worry about having the right coupler in case you are helping someone out.
  22. I hear ya. I have an 03 5.9 my dad has a 12 6.7. Mine get 20 his gets 14. It's hard to buy a new one when you hear that. My grandpa just bought a 6.4 hemi haven't got to pull it yet to see what fuel mileage it gets.
  23. Just thought it was a good picture although I should have been a little closer
  24. It actually rides pretty smooth but it also has a suspension seat. It does have a nice roomy cab
