  1. My 2 cents. I pretty much agree with all these guys. Radiant heat ishe way to go also the taller the better. We have a 18 wide 13 ft tall door and it's not big enough. Taller is better. One thing not mentioned is a bathroom. We just finished ours up and wish we would have done it a long time ago saves a lot of bitching former he wife when you come in the house with greasy hands.
  2. Caught a glimpse of staxx and his convoy rolling through kansas last night. By the time I figured it out it was too late for a picture.
  3. Ok how about 3 and sideways at that. Oh well.
  4. Here's a picture of my demo combine before it went to the junk yard. We used to run demo cars and then got into combines. They are a hell of a lot more fun. The only downfall is it takes a bigger trailer and bigger tools to work on them. My team and I took 1st and 2nd a few times. I have some more pictures and a video if I can find them.
  5. I just deleted the pictures off my phone. I had an issue where it wouldn't shift into the high side when cold. I did the work myself new forks and rebuilt the range cylinder. You can see the forks by taking the top cover off. One will come out with the top cover. To get the range fork out you need to pull the cylinder off the back. I did hear that the set screw could come loose they need to be torqued to 52lbs I believe and loctited.
  6. I get along pretty good with the polish they sell at blue beacon.
  7. Anybody ever heard of American rv in maryville tn. They have a truck advertised and it seem like way to good of a deal.
  8. If you figure the percent I think you will gain about 6 mph. I found a website that had a calculator. I think it was a fuller website but can't find it on my phone. It lets you put in trans ratio gear ratio rpm and tire size and will give you a speed.
  9. I have a picture in my head or the driver but I really wish they would have interviewed him. That is hilarious.
  10. Engine parts. Grime what they tell me the engine was less than 2 years old and mack would not stand behind it so he just bought a different truck.
  11. Parting out everything except frame from back of cab. Has a remark 460 that has a liner leak. It is apart heads and misc are in a pallet. Will sell pieces or the whole thing. Fuller 10 spd. Let me know what you want and I'll price it.
  12. Looks good. Never through anything away never know when it might come in handy.
  13. Maybe just doesn't know what he has.
  14. i know there was a guy in kc that was a collector and most all the trucks were black. He kept them in a salt mine. He bought a 57 Chevy truck from us to restore. If it's the same guy he had a huge collection. My grandpa was out there a few times and saw his trucks. Like I said don't know if it's the same guy or not.
  15. Definitely glad everything turned out ok and you kept it on its wheels. And I agree with the other guys nice looking rigs on both ends of the cable.
  16. Would there be any benefit to putting a turbo off of a 460 onto a 400? If so is it as easy as just swapping them?
  17. On to a better place. Prayers go out to his family in their time of need.
  18. Could someone explain what the xt file is.
  19. Parts started showing up for the swap. 1040.00 for new hubs and brakes for the front on order. Airbags showed up and we got the wheels off the vision so time to polish.
  20. I bought one of those about a year ago from Napa. On sale it was 200 I think but never the less one of the best investments I've ever made. Tractors trucks whatever just hit the switch and up it goes. We even have a shop built press and we use it in there sometimes and it work awsome. Best of luck with yours.
  21. I agree. I applaud the effort but not really my cup of tea.
