  1. I'll attach some harness info in the morning and some injector info if I can locate it
  2. Either injector or harness end at injector
  3. Looks like # 2 injector open circuit, but let me make sure
  4. I take that back. your AMI-370 has 1480 torque. The AI-400 has 1360. And the 427 has 1460 ft pounds of torque. So really , going to a 427 you will gain HP but loose some torque. I think Id first get the Step 12B done and also any other software update for the EECU and VECU and try that. Get a good boost pressure guage and see that your in the 28-36 psi spec.
  5. The injectors are probably getting close to needing replaced so Id go with 427 ones and the download.
  6. It is the exact same engine as a 400. Only difference is a download. To go bigger its pump, turbo and injector time plus software. The 375 and 400 both put out 1460 ft pounds of torque. The 427 and 454 both put out 1560 . Get a good boost pressure guage and under a hard pull you should be around 22-28 psi . Hopefully you be above 25 psi. Plus I'd have the pump timing checked and bumped 1.5 degrees (max) over what is says on the valve cover ( should say 6 degrees).
  7. Yes thats is the correct solinoid. Try using the side port as the exhaust. However I dont know which end would be supply and which should be delivery. You wont hurt is by trying.
  8. Your 3-2 code with the FMI of 2 is data erratic on the timing sensor which is on the side of the flywheel housing. Check the sensor tip for damage and the wiring harness end connector. The 3-4 code is the cam timing sensor on the front cover. Both sensors have the same part number
  9. I cant find any info on it. But best I remember the Horton had both air line on one end and the Eaton/Kysor had the air lines going in at each end with the side port as the exhaust.
  10. No ECM change as long as you had an air fan before.
  11. Your truck does not have the newest software in it for the poor throttle response ( Step 12B) I have attached a chart showing the different AI engine HP's and showing which turbos and injector part number differences. The 370 uses a 427 turbo but 400 injectors. The 375A ( for Allisons) uses a 400 injectors and turbo . scan0622.pdf
  12. That is a good question. Ill see what I can find out.
  13. I can pull out the tune up spec manual in the morning and see the difference in engine parts if any and let you know.
  14. I'll pull it up in the morning and see what the software levels are at . The ole dirty 370 was as small as you would ever want to go in a AI engine. They actually had the same torque output as a 427 .
  15. I believe you are correct. They use the same air solenoid, you just plumb it different for the two different types.
  16. I think this is the 4th or 5th or maybe 6th revision of the EGR differential pressure sensor and Venturi pipe. And yes lots of parts are on back order right now. We waited 3 weeks for the newest EGR diff sensor and pipe kit for a mp7 MRU . I'm waiting on a secondary fuel filter for my buddy's new GU with the common rail engine. You can get in in a kit but alone their back ordered from hell. The common rail engine takes a different secondary fuel filter than the older MP engines.
  17. Can you get me an actual fault code number? I think there is a bulletin or 2 on this . And model number and last 6 of vin
  18. Have you changed tire size lately? It happened to us and killed the power, we reset the tire size calibration and back to full power
  19. 313GC5227MX is for your truck (Early ETECH). The 2002-2003 CCRS and 2004-07 AI engines take 313GC5230MX . The AC engine takes 313GC5233MX . The X on the end of any Mack part denotes reman
  20. This is good news for those going that route.
  21. Certain year models of the MP8 505 you can have it bumped to the 505 Plus and gain some torque. I can't remember if it's 100 or 200 ft pounds. We have a few of the Plus trucks running around here and the one I rode in was grossing close to 100,000 pounds was in no strain up hill or in town driving. If your truck has the 2 piece valve cover I think it can be done, if your trans is rated for the extra torque
  22. Call 1-800 AIRBRAKE . The Bendix tech guys are quite helpful sometimes, plus you dont have to be a dealer to call.
  23. Yes they only make the high volume pump now . 315GC466MX is the part number
  24. You are correct. We would repair the o-rings on the solinoids and solinoids if bad. Add the anti-drain back screws on top of the rocker arm shaft and may be the high volume oil pump. But anymore than that and the owners usually gave up and wouldn't spend the big dollars for the external oil line kits and the upgrade rebuild kits.
