  2. Us and 4 other boats took a boat trip to a bar on the water and ate lunch then back to our usual hangout beach. Hopefully upgrading to a bigger boat next year. Going from a 21' to a 22-23' but the big difference will be going from a 150hp to a 250-300HP outboard. There are tri-toons here with twin 450 HP outboards on them. Small monthly payments! Lol
  3. Nice day on the lake, sadly TVA is dropping the water to winter levels by next week so we only got maybe 3 weeks left of boating here, however today was a good day regardless. Lots for food , drink and scenery! By the way. Every pic I post I actually take . It was a very good day
  4. Should be a "netural start relay" that lets the starter circuit work when in netural. Im thinking its mounted by its self down by the VECU in the kick panel under the fuse panel but not sure. Very few Allisons in CV's around here

  8. Being a 2008 and if the engine wiring harness is original, replace the engine harness.

  11. My oldest is out in his bass boat somewhere, he's the fisherman of the group. I have different priorities, good friends,drink sand and sun, and best of all no work/worries

  13. Did the dealership reflash or replace the engine ECM when they did the overhaul/replacement? If not you should be still at 460XT. No hardware difference in 460 and 460XT, only the software is different. If you had a power loss after the work was done maybe the incorrect turbo or injectors were installed or boost pressure leaks or incorrect valve adjustments.
  14. Mack/Volvo has their own code reader/diagnostic program. It started out as VCADS and now called Premium Tech Tool. On Volvos and Macks with Cummings engines you must use Insite for engine and emissions repair. Starting in 2008 all the diagnostic repair info is loaded on VCADS/Tech Tool. There are no books anymore on troubleshooting. There is a engine repair manual for the 2008 emissions MP engine but for the 2010 emissions year and after it's all in Tech Tool/ Impact. Tech Tool will work all the way back to 1992 VMAC 1 engines but is super slow.
  15. Every American citizen has first amendment rights whether you or I agree with what they are saying or not. While I don't agree with anything the white supremacist/ Nazi people believe, this is still their right to do their march or whatever they were doing and say what they wanted to say, like it or not that's their right just like it would be for me or you. The problem arises when someone tries to stop someone from exercising their first amendment rights. I don't like cats in my house, so if I get permits and hold a march/rally for "No cats in the house" is it ok for the opposition to show up and throw water bottles of urine at my group and try to shut us down? Freedom of speech is a right even if you don't like what someone is saying. I despise the white supremacist people but they can have their march one weekend and the opposing group can have their march the next weekend. Problem solved. When you try to shut down one groups beliefs it only makes them stronger. Sorry the girl got killed but if the nazis had their little march and a few hundred people showed up and they did their thing and went home. No one would even remember it happened . The next weekend the anifta/blm could have their march and all ok. Probably no one would remember it either. I guess some people can't grasp the concept of free speech....

  17. On that model RD with ETECH. Check for a dent in the engine ecm. If motor mounts are worn/loose and you make a hard turn or off road frame twisting , the ECM will contact the frame mounted fuel filter base and dent the ECM and short it out. Only takes a small dent. This will cause crank -no start issue. If you have another ETECH engine you can swap ECM and see if it starts
  18. Disregard my last post, Found what you need , VIN 1M2AA13Y7PW021620, CH613) Build date 10/12/1992 and it has the TAS-65 box on it.
  19. For once at our shop we have 6 Pre-Etech CH's on the lot. this is the oldest. It is an axle back. VIN 1M2AA13Y7SW044680, CH613) Build date 12/18/1994 . How ever this truck has the Sheppard M100 steering box and seems yours has the TRW Ross TAS65. You got a VIN ?
  20. Yep , the common rail engines have a separate harness under the valve cover. But the chassis harness is still mostly one piece
  21. Easiest way I can think of plumbing it would be installing in the turbo oil supply line. But actually you want your oil temp kinda hot. Keeps the condensation out. Oil temps ETECH.pdf
  22. I dont think you can reflash a VMAC 1 and reprogram with a new VIN. There is a reflash feature for VMAC 2 but unsure if you can wipe it out like the VMAC 3 's. If you were 400HP or less you could do the VMAC1 to VMAC2 conversion kit. VMAC1 to VMAC2 kit.pdf
  23. However today its the dreaded "Chassis Harness of Death". One of my all time favorites. Right up there with splinters under the finger nails! lol
  24. 90% of mine is injectors/cups and exhaust. Job security!
