  1. Pictures of rebuilding and replacement of the original 230 CID inline 6 engine with a rebuilt 283 CID V-8
  2. Thanks Bob! Yeah, she does beautiful work! I didn't even realize when I took her the seat that she'd put those lines and stuff in it - they sure set it off! I've got more to post - will do so soon! - Todd
  3. A place to document the repairs, modifications, and restoration of my truck.
  4. If I could find a pair of really nice ones already cut, that's what I'd have done...
  5. A history in pictures of the transformation from an ordinary Chevrolet pickup into "Mack, Jr.".
  6. Yes, but those keys have been cut - I'm (we're ) looking for uncut blanks.
  7. I talked to our long-time locksmith here in Tulsa and gave him the numbers off of the pictures of a couple of the "Bullgog" keys I cound pictures of online. He said he was 80% sure that they were the same key as the B&S, except for the logo, of course. He said he could determine for sure if he had one. So - if anyone has one already cut, why not take it to a locksmith and see? As for having a run made - I would tend to think that would be expensive, and that the people who now own Mack might get upset.
  8. The qustion, then, would be - What type key was the originalm and which B&S type does it match?
  9. Any response to this? I'd buy some. Also - does anyone know what key style they were? Were they the old B&S key type like older GM cars and trucks used?
  10. Thanks - when I get it all installed and cleaned, it'll look a lot nicer.
  11. Thanks guys! I bought that Messenger III NOS in the original box! I've ordered the remaining parts needed to get it going. After the mechanicals are all done, then it's on to the body work.
  12. Hello All! After 2 years, I'm almost ready to put "Mack Jr" back on the road. My son Seth and I are trying to get it roadworthy before Thanksgiving. I'll be posting more as we get things done. I've added a few photo's here: http://www.bigmacktr...album&album=412
  13. Thanks! I'll be posting more soon - we're about to start putting the truck back together. - Todd
