Loading Up The Rebuilt Bench Seat

Here I am on the "receiving end" as we load up the newly rebuilt seat. The lady who did the work was great! The seat has what's called "High Density Foam" underneath, and the back uses "Super Foam", which is a little more giving. BUT it's COMFORTABLE!© © 2013 by Todd W. White. All rights reserved.

Here's the original bench seat BEFORE it was rebuilt. That old vinyl was AWFUL to sit on in the summer! Lots of duct tape needed to keep it together...© © 2013 by Todd W. White. All rights reserved.

If I could find a pair of really nice ones already cut, that's what I'd have done... -

Reproduction Mat nstalled

From the album: "Mackification"
I tried to order a reproduction of the original design full floor mat, but they are no longer made. So, I had to settle for the one for the 1960-63 truck instead. Not bad, though...© © 2012 by Todd W. White

Doghouse Installed And Insulated
Todd W. White posted a gallery image in BMT Member's Gallery - Click here to view our member's albums!
From the album: "Mackification"
The doghouse was covered with a tar impregnated paper and had rusted in places where the tar had let loose. I wirewheeled the entire piece, then cleaned, primed, and painted it to match the transmission. Then, I covered it with super-sticky tar-backed foil, as seen here.© © 2012 by Todd W. White

Mack Keys

Yes, but those keys have been cut - I'm (we're ) looking for uncut blanks. -
Mack Keys
Todd W. White replied to b61mack's topic in Antique and Classic Mack Trucks General Discussion
I talked to our long-time locksmith here in Tulsa and gave him the numbers off of the pictures of a couple of the "Bullgog" keys I cound pictures of online. He said he was 80% sure that they were the same key as the B&S, except for the logo, of course. He said he could determine for sure if he had one. So - if anyone has one already cut, why not take it to a locksmith and see? As for having a run made - I would tend to think that would be expensive, and that the people who now own Mack might get upset. -
Mack Keys
Todd W. White replied to b61mack's topic in Antique and Classic Mack Trucks General Discussion
The qustion, then, would be - What type key was the originalm and which B&S type does it match? -
Mack Keys

Any response to this? I'd buy some. Also - does anyone know what key style they were? Were they the old B&S key type like older GM cars and trucks used? -

Spherical Throttle Linkage 01

From the album: New Engine for Mack, Jr.
I wanted something that was more reliable and less easy to wear out than the old-style throttle rods and clips, so I chose to make a new throttle rod using aluminum rod, threading it, and installed spherical linkages to each end like the clutch rods I used. I've not tested it in operation, but I think it will work well. This is carb end.© 2012 by Todd W. White
