  9. Yes Maddog was really reasonable auction. I ended up with both AB's (finally started the frame up restoration on the better one a week ago) and the FT and the Brockway. Btw Im looking for the brass headlights & Y brackets and all the components on the steering wheel for the advance, and throttle if you see or hear of one for sale let me know please. Thanks Pat
  10. Well if it is just a back up or project truck and you drive it or have a good driver it is one great transmissions. I love it when i get back into one of those trucks.
  11. I Bought 2 unrestored ones this past summer at an auction in upstate New York. This one for $4,500. which I just started the frame up restoration. and this one for $800 And two more fully frame up restored ones for $32,000 and $25,000
  12. The single stick 12 speed version was a great transmission, unfortunately if you have drivers that are un familiar with it they can break the shift fork quite easily. Of course as time passes its getting harder to find drivers that are able to shift at all, hence why the last 12 trucks i bought were automatic transmissions. Its a sad trend but with modern cars and pick ups the younger generation don't really have a chance to learn how to drive a standard transmissions anymore. Well at least in Ct.
