I'm just south of Boston, Getting real busy with work so although I'll be at Macungie I probably won't have this finished in time.

Got the transfer case shifter and the e brake handle in tonight some creative bending was required. Wiring harness and guages are on their way.

Thank's, I started to cut my own foam rubber gaskets last night, wasn't too happy with them.
-
Nice job, that;s pretty much exactly the look I'm going for with the one I'm building.

Real nice Binder. What town did it end up in?

Thanks guys, Got the brakelines and master cylinder finished up, started pricing cab lights, not too much curved base stuff out there anymore. I found a full set of nos kd517s for my A-car when I did that over, glad I saved the old ones. The chrome is flaking off, tried some "chrome paint" on the inside of one, don't know if I should just leave them as is or use the paint. Air horns were real rough painted them white. I think this will look pretty good against the black cab. Going to rework and extend the transfer case shift lever so it will look like a duplex. I've got to come up with an electric windshield wiper motor that can work with the Mack wiper transmission.

Thanks Paul

More progress, Painted the cab last night, took a couple of hours this morning and went off to the muffler shop. I think this will be the only thing I have to send out for. Got the cab back on this afternoon, should be getting brake lines finished, steering column and shifters in next.

Thanks, just wish it was as solid as your's is, this has a whole lot of patches.

Got bodywork and primer done on the cab. Had to find and drill out and tap the grab handle holes. Top bolts were broken off and covered with bondo, bottom bolts were ripped right out and a patch had been welded in. Found a Napa that mixed the green spray paint that I saw on here. Did a test spay on dash panel, stuff goes on nice. Paint is coming this week, hope to get the cab sprayed and back on the frame in the next week or so.

Got some bodywork done this weekend. Pretty thick bondo on the back of cab. Had to rebuild tops of door openings.

350 Chevy 700r4. Everybody asks why not a Cummins or a 7.3. The motor had 40k on it, ran like new and came with the chassis. I'm trying to stay on a low budget.

Bought a B67 a long time ago to restore. Turned out after I took it apart it needed a lot more work than it was worth, so i bought a parts truck to help the project along. The parts truck was a lot better than the first truck but still more than I wanted to do so it went to a new home. Along the way I dragged home a bunch of b model parts and ended up in possession of an 81 K20 rusted out pretty bad. The cab I had was rusted out in real hard to fix places but I didn't want to scrap it. So I figured rat rod 4x4 Mack that actually could be used regularly. Don't like the cut down mini truck look, found that 37" humvee tires are just about the same size as 9-20s so they fill the wheel wells up pretty good. Got photos of it mocked up, torn down and going back together, any luck I'll have it driving around the parking lot by end of June.

I think they said it was cut down to haul big boulders. It was parked near my Autocar at a show last November -
Mercier's is still in business. 508-587-0600. Fred Mercier is a friend of mine, i can ask him if he works on these.

It looks like early 1967. It looks like some of the cabs had 3 door hinges and some had piano hinges, I'm pretty sure the piano hinges started with the cab changes in '67.

The dura lift and the versa lift are both good buckets but the onan genset is a total PITA to keep running and parts usually have to come from Cummins. Clutch pump or 12 volt electric over hydraulic pump is much better as is a dually truck.
