thanks for the reply. i have a 75 1800 loadstar heavy spec tandem with only 25.400 miles on the chassis .that part is like new but the eng is a 446 v8 and not worth talking about .am thinking about repowering it with a diesel or a big gasser have`nt made up my mind yet .still forward me those pics when you get em thx. charlie -
several european countrys have a sure cure for idiots like that, baskets full of assorted rotten vegetables +other odds and ends heaved lustily from all directions works like a charm and you don`t have to listen to their babble

THERE IS A REVERSE WIPER-SEAL INSIDE THE COVER PLATE WHICH HAS WORN-DRIED OUT PROBABLY FROM AGE .THE HOIST WILL HAVE TO COME APART AND BE RESEALED TO EFFECTIVELY STOP THE LEAK. POSSIBLY SOME WORK ON THE CYL ROD ALSO -
need a bumper shell for a 2000 cx the metal parts are all good just need the shell. color not an issue

amertron textile co out of north carolina ran a fleet of these cummins powered old horses back in 1959 1960 i think amertron was based in winston salem nc. perhaps someone else remembers them?
