    bill i did see a car go off the head rack backwards. was watching a training session in council bluff iowa one day. one of the guys backed a station wagon on and had it exactly where it should have been then for whatever reason he punched it off it came

    i don`t know about canada but a cross country trip in a day cab here requires a motel reciept for every night on the road. what paul mentioned was not that uncommon here in the late 50s -early sixties

    i`m sure you already know that many paint systems don`t like galvanize if thats what the dip is

    back when i ran my own shop late 80s & into the 90s if i had told a cust.my labor rate was 110.00 bucks an hour they would have looked at me and said are you nuts

    thats why i said brace your self . i did`nt price a15,5 dbl disc.i`m sure they are much higher than the med .duty i used . don`t think rblt. exchanges are available any more either

    thats just what i paid for the clutch i am the mechanic hard to believe 14 hrs unless you have a whole lot of add ons under the truck

    based on what i paid for a new dbl disc for a 4900 inter. last month 735.00 and depending on labor rate where you are i`d say brace yourself
