  1. Hi Firemack, Thank you for the direction. I will have a go at that. Tommy B125 Bda MACK
  2. Looking for a bit of direction. I have a 1960 1,250GPM split shaft truck mounted pump. It has not turned in 20 years. I would like to turn it by hand to see if it is seized in order to determine my next move.. Would that be the way to go or can someone put me on the right track. I have sent an e mail to Waterous to ask this and also find out if they still carry seals, bearings etc for a rebuild but have not had a reply. Thanks to you in advance. Tommy B125 Bda MACK
  3. Nice Job 6. Any further updates ? B125 Tommy
  4. Loadstar, Many Thanks to you also. I am going to look on the web for the book right away and have a copy shipped in. I will also contact Mack although I have the Parts book, Engine service book & a manual on the Waterous pump (ALL the original books) I would like to see what Mack will send also. Drawings on the truck well that's exciting news also as I will certainly require a lot of the panels (cabinet doors etc.) to be replaced. regarding the pictures I had posted of the two trucks you are quite correct in that the newer looking B with out the front suction and no boster reels is in deed the hose lay vehicle. I have added a pic of a certificate that I discovered many years ago. Not sure why I kept it but it is dated 1895 and I think it is now FDNY but back then was called the Town of Newtown. Thanks again Loadstar for your direction and inspiration. Tommy B125
  5. FXFYFM / Thank you for the priceless information. I have started to make notes and will keep you posted or should I say keep asking questions and keep you updated with what I am doing. My biggest problem will definitely be cost. I have a lot of research ahead of me and imagine that I will have to shop around to get a few corporate companies onboard to assist with donations. I am definitely inspired by your direction and knowledge. I have attached another pic of the Waterous pump. Are Parts ie seals etc still available for this 60 yr old pump ? Many Thanks once again. Tommy
  6. Looking at the pics I have noticed that there is no front suction hose attached ! The pic at City Hall also shows no suction on any of the trucks. I will research but I assume they where added on after ?
  7. Here s a before and after. the after being in bad shape. This part of the truck was in the trees thus heavy rust on the right side.
  8. Here's an old pic of all three B's ( central 7, 8 & 9.) 2 pumpers and a pre-connected hose lay shortly after they arrived in Bermuda. The picture was taken at City Hall in the city of Hamilton. B125 BDA MACK
  9. Thanks Bulldog, I will need a lot of direction from pros like your self. Thanks again. Tommy
  10. By The Way That Harrison Mack looks awesome ! I'm hoping that my B125 old C-8 will look like that one day. B125 Tommy
  11. OK Mike, Here we go. I have put two pics on of the B125 and also a Picture of all three Mack's along with other old units that are no longer in service Parked in front of the Hamilton Fire Station. I have also added a pic of a Hyster Container handler that I had finished rebuilding back in May which I now use in my container storage depot. Will post more pics once I take a few more. Enjoy Tommy
  12. Hi Mike, Sounds Good for next week. Direct me as to how I post pics on this site. I had a look and I must be in the wrong location......lol I have put a few feelers out on the N Model Mack that St George fire service had so I hope to let you know its fate shortly. Tommy
  13. Nice Ladder Truck.
  14. Pedigreed, The chassis number is B125F-1042. Did you find any pictures of the cab you have stored in the trailer and work out what you are asking for it ? Please let me know. Bulldogboy Not sure if the N model is still in service or even around but will see if I can find out for you. When you take the trip back here let me be the first to know and I will show you around for sure. Regards Tommy B125 Bda Mack
