  3. I always tell these young punks with these well casings for stacks on these pickup trucks that they look so stupid and that stacks belong on semi truck not pickup trucks . I think the stacks on pickup trucks is about as bad as the balls hanging front the back bumper ! they tell me its cool I gues im not cool then LOL!
  4. That is very nice ! 2015 Mack f model awesome job ! I would like to see that in person when it's done not to many people put that kind of effort into a restoration. I'm so darn excited about it and it's not even my truck
  5. Top right should be fog lamp switch looks like it might have been added later and someone did not use the proper rocker switch with the markings for the fog lamps.normaly your top row is all lighting controls .

  8. No my old Mack is not for sale I have a gantry I'm selling I no longer use it I used it to install service bodies on new trucks. It comes with a spreader bar that adjusts and two hooks for service body pick up.and it comes with the trolley and chain fall the trolley is a good one not a cheap china . The chain fall is a cheaper one but has always worked flawlessly. It measures 17 ft wide x 10 ft tall the I beams are 6x6 x3/8 in thick I would like to get 1,500.00 for it I have more than that in it I am open to reasonable offers. You can send me a pm or call me at 419-595-2512 anytime between 8 am and 5pm
  9. Dark brown metallic cab and cream fenders that's my favorite
  10. Bigdogtrucker , I thought I was the only the that just appreciates a good ole one stack Mack with a muffler not every dam one straight pipped .
  11. That shit does make a guy sick, I bought a 82 cruiseliner awhile back for parts I got it home it runs and drives good needs it's share of work but couldn't bring myself to part it out so I kept it and bought new frame rails for my rs . One good thing about all this parting out crap going on is the trucks we all have and cherish will someday have a value that's crazy because there will be so few .

  16. Thanks joe. That makes perfect sense ! When I was a kid u models were everywhere and I always wondered why they were like that.
  17. I know this May sound dumb but what is the purpose of the offset cab on a u and dm models? I have heard so many different things is it for better vision and the cab can sit farther ahead?
  18. If you have good coolant filters and change them on a regular basis regular non pre charged antifreeze is fine . There is no need for precharged coolant in a system with coolant filters they are pre charged
  19. What a damn shame who would do that?
  20. No joke I just replaced the battery in my ford 1520 tractor i bought it at quality farm and fleet in October of 1998 and it just now went bad. I kept the core just for a conversation peice

  23. My dad bought one of those when I was a boy . It was our first truck with a turbocharger it had an ntc cummins we thought it was a power house. The truck still works today it pulls a lowboy and a dozer it was a 73 as well. I don't think trucks of today we will we be able to say the same in 40 years from now
