  1. Nice looking truck.
  2. Looking for ideas to seal some holes up. What is out there to go around the steering column where it meets the floor? What about clutch and throttle linkage? It's for my b67, I don't know if things are a little diffrent between that and a standard B.
  3. The tube on the one I have for a R is 4 3/4" id
  4. I was thinking the same thing. Where's the pole?
  5. I don't have it right in front of me but, i'm almost positive I put a delco 39mt on mine. It's a gear reduction starter. Local kenworth dealer had new ones on sale with no core charge for $185(I think) when I got mine.
  6. By the looks of this they are still using coal powered steamers in china.
  7. That's when men where men & took pride in what they did.
  8. I've sat and watched videos like that for hours already. I love that old stuff. I guessing they burn oil of some type? 1 tender for the oil and 1 for the water? Whenever I see old steamers like that, there's almost always a modern engine in the train. Is that just to give electric to the cars?
  9. Is the one from an R the same or will it work? I can't really get to it right now
  10. Kept trying to get the kids to stand with them so I could get pics., but they wouldn't. Otherwise they tell their mom then I'm on the shit even more. Exactly. No pic means no evidence to hold against me.
  11. I don't have Facebook but found more info with google.
  12. Went to the Pa farmshow building for motorama today. It's all about atv & dirt bike racing, rc cars, skimpily dressed wimmen, and car shows. There was a stand from Penn college of technology diesel club. The kids have been working on a B model for years. It has an 1998 E7 block with a ported etec heads and 3 turbos. The front bumper is a cold water tank for the after cooler. Their using an Allison tranny "I forget the # think it was a 4???" They say its quick but they have some traction issues.

    Work boots

I get the redwing 604 they are about $230. The amish guy I buy from says they are the best boot they make, idk. I use to where wolverines and some cheaper redwings but only got 8 months out if them. I get about 2 years out of the 604s
  14. I know where there's a 4 speed spicer auxilary transmission with a .83 overdrive.
  15. Someone on here sent there B model clutch to a place in Baltimore, Md. to have rebuilt and was happy. I don't remember who though.
  16. I always thought smashed bugs on the front end give character.
  17. As long as mine does my 212 miles a night I'm happy with it.
  18. If they wouldn't have put the batteries under the passenger seat there would be plenty of room to store the bouncy room there.
  19. That explains a lot. I have a day cab, and there's not enought room for all those essentials.
  20. When I first got mine I couldn't stand the way it shifted. There's a 3 mile section between 2 of my stores that the truck will shift 11 times between the same 3 gears. I don't rember but I think I shifted 1 or 2 with my 10 speed when I had it. I learned to just turn the radio up and not let it bother me. As for the light I'm still going to call it my no wheelie light. It just sounds cooler.
  21. surprisingly yes. It has about 10 of the mini blade fuses between 2 diffrent fuse panels I found. I don't understand how the truck works though. There was prob 30 empty circuits.

  23. You may be right. Sunday night I didn't have left turn signals on my trailer. After messing around I found it was a blown fuse. When I got back in the truck I noticed the digital readout on the dash where the odometer normally is said "turn signal on". I guess that's there incase you don't see the flashing green arrow right beside it?
  24. Agree 100%. Ours as soon as we throw the jake on it will downshift 2 gears and continue doing so to stop the truck. In the 3rd setting it will keep the tach between 1800 & 2300 rpm. It just keeps down shifting. If I use mine I usually keep it in the 1st stage then it only drops 1 gear normally.
