  1. If anyone goes early and wants something to do in the area. Outback toys is just south of the sheetz and has a lot of of farm toys like ertl. http://www.outbacktoystore.com/
  2. Thanks. Newport rd comes out at the sheetz on 501 if I remember right
  3. I've delivered to grocery stores in the area for years and can't say I ever seen the place. Can someone give me a general idea where the show is?
  4. My garage is just under 1000 square feet so I didn't need any inspections. Just the permit.
  5. It's only 2 hrs for me, and in hoping to make it Saturday. I wanted to bring my truck, but I've had sick kids the last 2 weeks, and haven't got it fixed yet from my broken fuel line yet.
  6. The first steps not that bad. Putting the pole light up was the worst part!
  7. Not true. That's my garage and there's none that I'm aware of.
  8. I think I remember reading on here something about having to have the steering box inplace and lowering the cab down over it.
  9. I believe that. Your truck is turning out better then new. I think I would have cried if something went bad.
  10. Pretty sure if I would have done that I would have better odds of getting myself damaged then the cab by doing it myself.
  11. Tuesday is my day off and I'm hopeing to get to my scrapper buddies. They get mr garbage trucks in from waste management. I can see what's on them maybe
  12. Something didn't seam right. It was quite inside!
  13. They have or had a plant or something on route 11 at the south end of Carlise, Pa. Idk what they do there though.
  14. Per gallon of fuel yes they prob are cleaner. They just forget to tell the public they are going to use more gallons to do the same amount of work. When I still worked for "butter krust" family owned bakery now part of bimbo bakery I had a 2007 (I think) non emission Mack vision single axle 350 and 10 speed. I got in the high 8's for mpg. Now doing the exact run in my freight company specd 2016 automatic 12 speed Detroit powered freightliner I'm in the high 6's. my mack would have ran circles around this thing too. I know not a pickup like K's original post, but just an example.
  15. I always asked that. How does it make sense that the exhaust is cleaner if it takes more fuel to do the same amount of work? Is the exhaust measured per gallon of fuel used? Do they take into consideration that it take more fuel to get from point A to point B? Wich means it makes more exhaust also?
  16. I like the way this westernstar bunk looks in the picture. Body lines seem to match nice. Idk what it looks like in person.
  17. I agree 100% with your opinion on the 8.1. I hardly ever go over 200 miles on a tank using it as a car.
  18. 2nd truck is Maddog#####. I don't remember the 5 numbers after his title.
  19. I bought my 04' chevy 2500HD with a 8.1 (496) gas engine and an Allison. not because of the mpg it gets, but because of how it does what I want it to do. Driving it around as a car I get around 10mpg. Using it as a truck I'm between 6&9.
  20. Pete has the 1 bunk door that opens the sleeper and toolbox. KW has 2 separate doors
  21. I got a buddy that raises quail, he likes to boil and pickle their eggs for picnics. Days it's a lot of work because they are only the size of olives, but a great conversation item.
  22. Yes I think so.
