  1. I have a freightliner air ride on mine. With the rear springs as stiff as they are there's no need for shocks.
  2. Truck N Tow.com I've bought chains, binders, and straps there too. There prices are pretty good on stuff and if you sign up for emails they send a free shipping code out at the end of the month. Fleet engineers is the brand of the fender. When I mounted them I rolled the to the rear so they would meet my taillight brackets. I wish they would be about 4" longer in the front, but I'm happy with them. I think next time I would go with the stainless version, or possibly the "plastic" ones. The aluminum is a brushed finish.
  3. Local guy has one in a 560 farmall that he stretched the front of tractor to make fit. Doesn't use ita lot but blows fire out the stack and looks cool.
  4. I agree with h67 the flaps should line up with the outer edge of tire, or stick out just past. My opinion is a little off your topic but...if your gonna bobtail around or not have some type of body on the back frame your gonna want some type of full fender to keep the back of the cab protected from flying rocks. I can remember underdog has plastic full fenders (I like), mine are aluminum, I think freightrain's are diamond plate, and some are stainless. The plastic type ones you can get in a bunch of different colors.
  5. Before I was "married with children" and very active in my fire co. I ran our tanker in all the local parades. It was always embarrasing to not have candy to throw.
  6. Sorry, but my buddy never got the Durango in that I was gonna check for your Dakota seats.
  7. I work with a very wise man and he once told me its easier to ask forgiveness then it is to ask permission. Maybe he was a wise ass??????
  8. I felt the same when I cut mine in 1/2, but in my mind my job was alot easier! Good luck!
  9. My dad had a W-9 with torsion bar and said it didn't ride bad and worked very good off-road. Problem was it was central pa in the early 80's when coal was booming, and they got paid by the ton. It didn't hold up real good. He kept braking stuff.
  10. On my dads isx cummins when his pump went they said if the security seal on the pump was broke they "can't" accept them for a core.
  11. I used an ebay 14 circuit special $128. (A few more extra circuits would have been nice). I cut the relay and turnsignal flasher out of it and used my own seperate ones.(that made it only 12 circuits). It was pretty easy install just a lot of time thinking through the process, everything was labeled for a gas powered car not a diesel truck. I probably have about 25 hours in rewiring the whole truck. http://m.ebay.com/itm/Street-Rod-Race-Universal-14-Fuse-12-Circuit-Harness-Prewired-to-Ignition-Switch-/282558337550?hash=item41c9ca120e%3Ag%3A9WYAAOSw7s5XgrMj&_trkparms=pageci%3A28875b1b-7a49-11e7-a3dc-74dbd180d7cb%7Cparentrq%3Ab53978d615d0ab64834a1cfeffffe713%7Ciid%3A1
  12. 3 Mile island is a nuculear power plant on an island in the susquhanna river near Harrisburg, Pa. I think march 30 1979. It was 9 month before I was born. My dad says it was a good party since I had about 10 classmates in school with birthdays all within a few days of mine. I think a valve in the cooling system just got stuck open and shit started hitting the fan. I read one place the said it was within a few minutes of being another Chernobyl disaster.
  13. I know in Treverton, pa there was an electric walking shovel abanded in the strippings nothing in size by comparison but we could park a couple atv's in the bucket.
  14. I always wondered about that style of spoke. I like the look of them better.
  15. Same here with my freightliner rails. My splice is behind my stack brackets and under deck plate so it's hid from outside viewing. I used rustoleum red oxide primer and there profesional grade gloss black. Figured it would be easy for touchups.
  16. Gas grill for front crankshaft hub.
  17. I know. If it wouldn't be that property taxes are due, wife needs tires on her Durango for inspection, and several other things all at the same time I'd prob already have it. That's perfect to pull behind an old B.
  18. It's the wrong time for me but somebody really needs this. https://scranton.craigslist.org/tro/d/trailco-ft-van-trailer-single/6194917203.html
  19. It has 4 acorn nuts on bottom and 3 or 4 bolts through a curved piece along top of door. They are the same as the stainless ones I bought off watts the other year when they where $100 off.
  20. Thanks. My last doors had sheet metal screws (about 10 per side) these still look original with the acorn nuts.
  21. Thanks. So in theory if I'm careful and stick a plastic scraper down by the outside of the glass I "may" be able to change them.
  22. Do I have to open up the doors to get to the lower mounting bolts on the mirror brackets? Or are the some kinda welded stud?
  23. It's scheduled to be shut down. I don't remember when though.
  24. The tmi view looks like its from the turnpike bridge.
