  1. Thanks guys. I just wasn't sure.
  2. Really? That's it? Was looking at it from the outside of the truck and there's nothing there just curious.
  3. Is the ball the drag link hooks to welded into the pitman arm? 1963 b67 manual steering.
  4. Did you find where the bolt came from?
  5. Axle is officially in, and truck is sitting on the ground. I used standard alcoa wheels and I'm happy with the fitment. Last big step is to fab a drag link. Then need hoses for front breaks, hub caps, and oil.
  6. I sold the rear out of my driving and running truck to a guy. When he pulled it apart "I think" there was a broken piece of axle and a bolt laying in the bottom. Of the housing. Both where from a previous time as nothing was wrong with the current rear. Who knows how long that stuff could be laying in there.
  7. It only takes time and $. Both of which I don't have enough of.
  8. Found it along with some more casting numbers. Truck is a 1963 B67. It's at the same spot as j hancock's photo. It looks like a 517 to me. What's that mean? I've been wanting to to write the museum but like many other things never got around to it yet. Thanks for all the info.
  9. To pick the cans off the exhaust of the grader and dozer.
  10. Ok. Getting closer I guess. How many diffrent numbers do they have on 1 part?
  11. It's all in the prep. Take your time and don't rush into the actual paint application.
  12. A latrine??? With that who cares who you piss off or on.
  13. Shock mounts made, bump stops modified, u-bolts in place, and wheels polished ready to put on. Oh yeah and stopped to look at a possible new project.
  14. Found this number stamped on the front of the spring pad. "1QHA4132DP5".
  15. I'm to dumb to find anything with the search option so this will be a lot easier. The only # I can find on the front axle I'm removing is. "3QHF414BP 8 3QH4" I'm not 100% sure about the 8. Is this the right # to determin what it is? I'm hopefully not ever going to use it again just trying to figure what it is. Thanks
  16. Think it's an old "weis markets truck". It was on craigslist last year I think.
  17. https://harrisburg.craigslist.org/hvo/6082864022.html These are company trucks for the company my dads leased to. He says there in decent shape.
  18. I got mine today. Thank you! I'm gonna get some frames to protect them from the kids. They love them. Thanks!
  19. My dad runs howes in winter and their "meaner power kleaner" in the warm season. He watches his mpg alot and says he gets a few tenths per mpg better running it that covers alot of the cost.
  20. When my dad took his off his KW with a signature cummins, and started cleaning up to weld there where many bad spots still covered in paint that weren't leaking yet. He ended up buying a new one. Check it out good before u put to much time in patching it.
  21. 740 miles?! That's 12 hours in my 63mph truck! That makes me want to cry.
  22. Same here. You could make my B look like I dream and not actually see.
  23. I don't care if you have. You can post these again and again and I'll still admire.
