    Our new freightliners the brake cams are sealed and nongreaseable. We have had several that the front cams are rusting fast.

    I am a minority and proud of it! I'm a 37yr old white English speaking male, I graduated high school, have some technical & college type training, enjoy working, and don't wear socks with sandals! I've done the same work since 2001, I mostly hand unload 11-17 stores a night out of a 53' trl mostly off a lift gate. I have split nights off, and yes I like my job! If that dosent make me a minority I'm not sure what does.

    Our bakery had no female production workers for many years. It was all white males. With our production of state facility bread such as schools they started to bring up the lack of minorities. Once all this started females where brought into the production floor. When they where hired they where given seniority dates of when they applied and not hired. Some had a hire date of several years before they where actually hired. The one good thing is we are still proud to be union free!

    I second finditparts. If you put the item In your shopping cart for a day or two they always email me and give me an extra 5%-10% off. Like stated though some good deals some way over priced.

    I had the flu about 2 years ago and it sucks. That was the only time I called off sick since I graduated in 98. Good luck.

    found a front rockwell axle from a fld freightliner. It has the same center pin distance. It is going to move the tires out 2" further on each side (mine stick in the fender 4" currently". I should be able to lower the front an 1" or 2". For $100 it's worth a shot.

    yep it's about a 1/2 hour away from me. Town had a public dump like most small towns had. The dump somehow caught fire which started part of an exposed coal vein on fire and has been smoldering underground ever since.

    Another kicker is speed. I only drive 210 miles a night, but I have 11 stops. 11 stops can make you loose alot time. 5minutes here and 5 minutes there can loose an hour real quick. My truck does 61mph on the floor, and usually it's doing 61mph when ever it can. I cant even run the speed limit on the interstates so I have to make time somewhere.

    Some guys I know use welding cable because its more flexible compared to battery cable. They also say it holds up to vibration better. Also know people that say don't use battery cable because it won't hold up to the vibrations.

    And automatics. I'm currently driving one and doing what I do with 11 stops a night I love it. However we have guys that have no idea how to drive a manual and refuse to. They say its just like driving there SUV, and the sad thing is that's how they drive the trucks just like a 4-wheeler. Hopefully the plow driver has 100% recovery.

    I use my phone. When you type a message there is a little paper lip below the typing box that say click to choose files. I click that and it takes me to my phones photo gallery. I click on the pic I want and it will load in a small box below the message I'm typing. Then there is a small + on the pic that needs clicked on so it will add it to the message. Good luck. We like pictures.
