  1. Looks to be in good shape if it were closer I would buy it for the engine alone.
  2. This must have been a fire truck at one time probably had a tank on back its on the GSA to bad its so far away I saw this 59 KW on gov deals today figured I would include it in this post too.
  3. My other cab should be here by the middle of the week I will let you know then.
  4. Ron Im going to restore the truck Im only selling off what I don't need right now so the drive line is going to stay in the truck.
  5. I have to keep the plastic piece until my other cab arrives this week to see if this one is as good or better than the one in the new cab.
  6. Took some pictures of the interior as I have been removing it the headliner will come out later today all this stuff is very dirty it needs a good cleaning and armorall the rear panel could use rebacking I have done lots of them pretty easy when you can use the original for a template..
  7. I have seen them use the take off brake drums from brake jobs too.
  8. Alex that looks like a box from an RB I drove one with the box like that.
  9. Im going to sell off the whole interior piece by piece or whole the pump looks to be a sidemount.
  10. I had the superliner dropped off today in my drive right now surveying what to keep and what to sell off of it as Im getting a new cab and wont need much of whats there right now. It has a beautiful interior some parts are not so good I think the back panel is the worst Im going to sell that off whole or in pieces the dash or most of it will be sold off the cab I bought as a replacement is complete so whats in this one is just extras. I have the two stainless rear fenders they will be sold off as Im going with full diamond plate fenders and the wet kit pump and controls with the reservoir is for sale too the pump is driven directly off the trans and is air actuated Im pretty happy with the truck overall now to try to find some reasonably priced tires.
  11. How does the someone find an insurance company to cover a guy with that many screw ups.
  12. Call specialty truck parts in California 408-640-3895 they just sold me a cab for a superliner it had the hood still on the truck they gave me the headlight bezels off of it they may sell you the trim.
  13. The texas cab is an 89.
  14. I went and took the plunge and bought a superliner and the cab has bad rust issues so I found two rust free cabs one in California and one in texas. Yesterday I got a price of a thousand dollars for a complete cab from the yard in California and 2500 for the cab in texas so I bought the cab in California. Today I get an email from the yard in texas they would sell me the cab for 1000 dollars also a complete cab I wanted the one in texas only because I figured shipping would be less but bought the one in California because it was half the price. I received pictures of the cab in texas in the email if anyone is interested in that cab I figured I would pass the deal on a thousand dollars for a complete cab even with shipping I would think is a great deal cant be many left and they are a model specific cab so anyone interested I can forward the email to you and you can contact them, Kevin

  20. Im going to have a ton of work to do on it I always wanted one and this was in the price range but I will have to spend a ton of cash on it to get it nice again.
  21. It does have a white steering wheel it was manufactured in Hayward California where my other truck came from.

  23. Wish I would have had a camera I went by before the wrecker came to set it back on its wheels Joe Brown laid his truck over on 72 he works for Christensen looks like it went over slow it had minimal damage it started up after it was uprighted. I guess he was a little shaken up but OK hows that for luck he retired this spring and came back for a couple weeks for some spending money then this happened.
