  1. I have a couple old grover horns sitting in the shed.
  2. Those 10 tons are over width for normal driving on most roads even singled out like this one is.
  3. I may have posted this before but those short stacks really make that Detroit sing loud.
  4. OK thanks.
  5. I'm replacing one of the dynatard solenoids on the superliner engine are these supposed to have an O ring on them somewhere where they go into the rocker arm? I took both the old ones out and there was no seal they were just threaded into the rocker shaft or is this how they are from the factory?
  6. That's what it was like in the 60s running the rails with my uncle we ran a couple of old F7As he showed me the ropes made for lots of enjoyable times. My dad was a photoengraver never got to spend work time with him as it wasn't permitted by the company he worked at.
  7. I sure would like one of those hoods would make a great spare should anything happen to mine.
  8. Depends how far you want to go with it I did an in frame on my superliner in my driveway for 1600 dollars in a rebuild kit.
  9. They sell lots of 903 parts on government surplus sites all new in the box they just sold off a pallet of exhaust manifolds brand new for pennies on the dollar.
  10. They used 903s in some of the ten tons and in boats.
  11. I was really surprised to see this for auction 123s are rare to begin with but a mack 123 is a rare bird indeed. I wish I had the means to move it these are almost ten feet wide though and driving them can be a challenge.https://gsaauctions.gov/gsaauctions/aucitsrh/?sl=71QSCI17417013
  12. Looks like a good old truck wish it were closer.https://www.govdeals.com/index.cfm?fa=Main.Item&itemid=200&acctid=5057
  13. PAI makes rebuild kits. I got a kit to do an in-frame on the 300 in the Superliner for 1600 dollars and that included a new oil pump. You can get them off ebay. I went into town and got mine from fleet pride.
  14. Pictures I take with my camera wont work but others saved from some other source load just fine.
  15. I have had the same problem for months that's why I never post any pics of my superliner rebuild anymore.
  16. Wow that's a smoking deal there but shipping may be a bit pricy if they will even make the effort to box them up..
  17. Heres one before they took it off the truck they sent me pictures of them so I could see what I was getting.Good thing is they are giving me the brackets and the bonnets too most want to sell you the unit itself but want to charge extra for the straps and bonnets. I think going with a smaller 11 inch unit helps with door clearance and weight on the cab panel mountings and seeing there is going to be two of them restriction will not be a problem.
  18. I just bought a pair of 11 inch stainless donaldsons with the mounting brackets for 500 going to be another 100 or so to get them here.
  19. I'm going with intakes from an international stainless steel bonnet type and 11 inch diameter less interference with the doors.
  20. A friend and fellow amvet sent me this picture this morning of a truck he designed the paint scheme and painted for celli for the 76 bicentennial.
  21. Seems Brad has gone over to the dark side I saw a peterbilt with stark on the doors the other day it almost looked like farmers old lowboy truck.
  22. At least they didn't bend that nice chrome bumper.
  23. Down in the st louis area.
