  1. I would like to get a set of steel chrome plated tube type wheels for my RS there are tons of new tube type 1100X20 G177 tires for sale from the military I can get them for 100 dollars apiece.
  2. The wire harness on the 79 is about all the same color the 88 harness is all different color wires would be much easier to put back together by color if I could find the diagram. All the wire diagrams in the wiki section here are older trucks with the same as my 79.
  3. I wish I had seen this earlier took my old superliner cab off yesterday and took it down to the scrap yard.
  4. That was a Bell lowboy truck that's what he calls it too ole stubby I need to acidize my trailer its pretty dirty but with the dust its hard enough to keep the tractor clean.
  5. Saw you today on 20 in the red and black pete I'm surprised you recognized me my truck doesn't look even close to what the rest of the gravel fleet looks like.
  6. Stan and Lisa stopped by yesterday they were taking it for a sunday drive.
  7. It was probably your dad then I heard you were a bit surprised to find out Stan Guess had bought that old red B model.
  8. Last 2 RDs I drove had them good idea but hard on the sole of the boots.
  9. I think I may have seen you too on Friday headed west on 20 unless it was your uncle.
  10. Yes this is from the same engine everything is in good shape.
  11. The guy in the car could have been a real p***k and been messing with the driver we get them here all the time and the driver was teaching him a school of hard knocks lesson if that was the case I say "rock on".
  12. Don't know if it will fit but I have a nice used one from a 237 sitting in the shed.
  13. I am in the process of recabbing a 79 superliner the wire harness is completely oil soaked and in bad shape. I'm using a 88 superliner 2 cab and would like to use the color coded wire harness that was in that cab problem is last year when I got the cab I took the wire harness out thinking I was going to use the existing one in the 79. Well in taking out the color coded 88 harness I didn't mark anything thinking I wasn't going to use it anyways so it went into the parts shed and was forgotten about. The parts of the harness that plug in and go to the gauges etc. look pretty similar but the parts they cut off at the firewall that went elsewhere on the truck I have no clue what they go to so any diagrams of anything 88 and similar would be appreciated or steer me in the right direction of a source to find them.
  14. https://wyoming.craigslist.org/cto/6058664835.html Found this this morning looks to be a good truck.
  15. Ya it was a fire dept tanker I'm sure it was run way harder than designed to be 3208s are good for certain applications but were put in trucks way to big for their limited power.
  16. Thanks Brad its a low mileage truck lots of good parts.
  17. I found a DM model truck with a blown engine to use for a parts truck are the doors and other parts of the cab the same as an R model? I need mostly cab parts and will sell the cab after I get the parts I need off of it the cab looks pretty much rust free.
  18. Al you need to go over there and trace that logo so you have it exactly like the original its probably vinyl anyways nobody paints names on their doors anymore.
  19. Doesn't sound like a guy truly interested in selling usually can tell by lack of good pictures.
  20. I'm sure Stan would appreciate it.
  21. A friend just brought home a Harry Kuhn B model maybe you guys have a picture of it in your archives some where.
  22. Wonder if they would unload one of those trailers I really want one of the early sunrise dumps with the rounded sides like an early aluminum tub trailer.
