  1. I believe you'll want a 12.25 X 22.5 rim. But as far as what offset will end up working ?? That's a little more specific to the truck.
  2. Don't forget you're going to need the 20" if you plan on using wide base steering tires (425s) That picture has 22" and 20" in it . You'll need these guys
  3. The ratio is stamped on the pinion if you can see it . There's two numbers, the lower one you divide in the higher one.... it's the number of teeth on the ring and pinion.
  4. Probably has numbers on the pinion. If it's not covered in dirty grease (which will come off easily) you'll see two numbers on it that'll suddenly make a lot of sense to divide 😉
  5. I bet someone had green antifreeze in that engine
  6. Glad to hear it's better. Now to find out what caused it 🤔
  7. Roid #$&@ phone not rid
  8. Yeah.... careful not to get rid rage 😂 is it at least getting better ?
  9. Didn't an outfit by the name of Transmission Technologies (TTC) take that part of Spicer ? or is that Tremec ?
  10. I'm like'n the shed. Those pills are a steroid. Once you start the prescription you can't stop. ( like can't just say screw it after a day ) they have to be all taken in the order they said
  11. That's a transmission more for a smaller truck, like maybe a ten wheeler with a DT466 or something like that.
  12. The "8" series is only rated to handle @ 800 lb/ft of torque from an engine. Likely only has a inch and three quarters input shaft (?) I don't think it's a good choice for the truck you want to use it in.
  13. That is correct. I just assumed it was a larger series. An 89 is I small transmission. Not physically small, just not something you'd find in trucks that are bigger.
  14. RTO or RTX..... it's an overdrive. Personally, 4.42s 24.5s and an 8LL is a fairly well working arrangement in my opinion. Same thing with 4.17s will go faster though.
  15. An 8LL is an overdrive.
  16. Yikes, I think you should go and find out what's going on. Isn't it strange how when we feel the slightest thing needs attention on a truck we're all over it......ourselves ???? not so much
  17. I took a picture , then this guy went by and photo bombed my side view
  18. White shed with a green roof ? I have one like that. Love it, hope you like your's as much
  19. That looks like it's over 13'6"
  20. ATF works if you don't mind having everything loosened up and pumped through the engine. If you're careful and change the oil and filter a couple times there's a slim chance. Nothing is a quick fix other than rebuilding it. With modern oils and a nice hot ignition ? it'll probably never happen again.
  21. I bet they never figured that car would have air bags like that in it
  22. If it was ok then started doing this ? It's not the air. Spring(s) or saddles and blocks are worn out.
  23. That's the "Lucky" model
  24. I don't think he's driving a Mack (?) of coarse no girl's gonna look (FYI I like seeing the weekly photos too )
  25. Tom Tom Tom.....you need to post some pictures if you ask a question like that ( lol )
