  1. Whatever grease is lying around...sometimes some John Deere cornhead grease and I do everything usually every two weeks, more or less depending on operating conditions of said time frame. A battery powered grease gun and around 2 1/2 tubes of grease and I'm good to go. On the 5th wheel I've got one of those plastic disc doo-dads as I'm hooked to the same trailer most of the year...it works just as well as grease but never dries up and is WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY cleaner.
  2. Ahhh shit! That's too funny...especially the 'backed over' Hardee's sign.
  3. I didn't see a 'no fat chicks' sticker on the fix or repair daily.
  4. Maybe if you had 'em you'd be able to see a truck wash once in a while! But I'll agree, I don't like those either.
  5. I don't like the pipes though, Bigen's are better. And it needs a spotlight.
  6. That black plastic piece on the passenger side of the HVAC...3 screws are easy to get to, the other is a sumbitch underneath the dash. Pull that off along with the bottom part of the cover to expose the AC and heater cores...hit it with an air gun and/or a water hose. It's a bit of a pain the first time you do it, but afterwards it's a piece of cake. I do mine every spring and even though I have the filters up underneath the windshield it still gets clogged full of shit.
  7. He'd prolly have to drive with the steering wheel tilted up for quite a while...
  8. I thought you posted up pictures on here quite a while back of your clutch brake falling out or something like that...maybe I'm thinking wrong. BUT, a question for HK Trucking: the Mack wheel rotation 'policy', does that apply to ALL Mack rears or just Mack rears with the auto power divider? The one I've got is air operated on Mack rears.
  9. Here's the truck I'd like to have if I ever went OTR.........or if Bigen was looking to start a fleet and hire me.. http://www.truckpaper.com/listingsdetail/detail.aspx?OHID=2240708 ...however I'd rather have a 13 or 18sp instead of the LL friendly auto-shift. I don't know what they did different with this truck and Bigen's, but they look pretty sharp.
  10. Glad that fixed it. One little bad electrical connection can do a good job of screwin things up can't it?
  11. Welllllllllllll...had you read this thread http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?showtopic=12992&st=0 specifically post #6, you would've had that problem by the nads before it happened...
  12. Funny how someone took the time to impliment an emoticon limit... Anyway, so goes the story with me too. Finally get off my ass around 2 sunday afternoon. I did that a couple weeks ago replacing the charge air cooler...I got all new hoses (but of course, not clamps) thinking I'd have it out and in in an hour......long story short, after breaking 3 of them, I drove all over hell trying to track down 3 of those stupid clamps so I could go on monday morning.
  13. Ahh...I don't do the church thing, but the one Catholic church here was shut down by the head molesters due to funding issues. The cop sits in the car playing solitare on the computer all night...
  14. Hey...we've got a Casey's, 5 bars including bowling alley and a grade school that's only a couple years old. First class all the way.
  15. Just curious how you guys get the guinea pigs for this project? Who pays for labor/parts etc...? Almost makes me wish I'da bought that '04 Vision...sales guy last shot me a price of $26,000 including adding the jake brake to it... And have Bigen hook me up with a couple loads to and from wherever Mackpro is to get it set up.
  16. So was the backing up difficult because of where you had to go or what you couldn't keep from looking at...??
  17. Should've told her that it was too bad her dad didn't tarp his load properly...
  18. So are you a CHiP? I was watching "Dangerous Drives" on Speed channel the other night...they had the CHP on I-15 from I think Bakersfield to Vegas. I couldn't even imagine dealing with that...but that's coming from a 'flatlander' here in IL who's buried in a cornfield town has a whoppin 1300 people.
  19. As long as you're not turnin that flatbed over...
  20. BE.............SURE.........TO DRINK.......YOUR...........OVALTINE...???!
  21. I just threw up in my mouth. ANYWAY...send some of that 100 degrees up thisaway.
  22. Makes me glad the other day I stumbled upon a 'Welcome to America, now speak ENGLISH or get the hell out!' sticker for my back window.
  23. It's making money, but making ME money........now that's a different story...
