    Saying she's hot is a bit of a stretch too...but definately broke up the monotiny of bearded Canadians, eh? Anyway, I can't imagine the stones of those guys who did it back then. Nowadays we get bitchy if the a/c isn't working or the ultra-shift is malfunctioning.

    Apparently things are much more efficient in SoIL than NoIL. Here they have no idea what it is to be expedient...and they're assholes and don't appreciate it when you're an asshole in return.

    Ahh...the accordion bus. They should do a pimp my ride show with one of those. I have the bare minimum on my license plus tanker...so I can keep my IDOT job. I get so disgusted waiting around at the DMV that I try to sit through all the tests but I get bored and just fail on purpose to get it over with.

    Still can't see you driving a school bus. Where'd you put the gun rack? All the bus drivers with the exception of one, bore a very close resemblance in all respects to Roseanne.

    I'll see your 28 footer and raise you my 23 footer. When you know you have the hang of it is when you jump in a dump truck/tandem/whatever and when you're backing up you turn the wrong way, as if you're still backing up with a trailer. I've hit stuff doing that.

    Sometimes it's sloooow for me, others it's fast. I guess it depends on the time of day or something...yesterday I had a hard time getting on here though.

    It can be done! There are some 'free' ways up thataway. But Chicagolands expressway system is pretty discombobulated I'd rather just avoid it altogether. It is fun in a big truck though, people get the flock out of your way.

    Lazy truck driver not wanting to actually shift gears. Just get an ultra-shift or an auto shift or whatever Double L likes.

    My 18sp grinds on the range shift on the first shift of the day in the a.m. though not every time. I suppose that's the beginning of the end...?

    I took the fresh air duct off and took off the covers for the hvac on the bottom of the dash last spring and took an air hose to the heater core/ac core...I was pretty suprised at the amount of shit on them, a layer probably 1/2 inch thick...bees wings(from corn) and dust. Afterwards I had 5 times the air flow and ice cold air. Those filters for the fresh air intake underneath the windshield on the outside are for decoration I think.
