  1. Just put some roofies(sp?) in the steak like those guys on 'the hangover' do with the tiger.
  2. Ahh...Gotta get a t-shirt like that. Funny shit.
  3. I try to avoid truck stops altogether. Call in your information, wait to turn on the pump, pump your fuel, pull forward...go inside, make small talk with snaggle-tooth fuel girl, sign your receipt. There's a Shell in Peru, an FS in Princeton...so no matter where I'm coming from I can get to either one. Pull up, pump your fuel...either pay at pump or go inside to pay. Minimal time. Usually its cheaper at these places too. But I finally got a fuel tank and get it delivered most of the time. Easier, less price variation and one bill every couple weeks, rather than a mountain of receipts.
  4. You could drive up here, buy the antenna and drive back home for $135. OR...had I known you were looking, I would've sold you mine for $68.
  5. There's too much around here...Sapp Bros, Flying J, Pilot and Loves.
  6. I avoid the Flying Jesus like the plague.
  7. You wouldn't have to work to ride a wheelie though.
  8. I hope you're spending $70 for two of those. I got mine for about $35.
  9. I have a two-way FM radio also...same radios we've got in our farm equipment, in the truck also. My brother and I are able to talk over a distance of 40 or so miles if terrain is right. Anyway, the previous owner of my truck put a permanant antenna on the roof and ran the cable down behind the passenger seat. I've found that the radio works with only the power wire hooked up, not with both power and ground (I have it hooked to the cb hookups). Somewhere it's grounding itself out. Also when I key up the mic on that radio the pyro gauge pegs, let go of the button and it goes back to normal.
  10. I think that style of seat suspension is the best riding compared to the other style. What I need though, is a low-rider seat that's narrow(er) than the seemingly standard 22" cushion. I've got the wide one now and it's almost too wide for a day-cab...but I got it because it reclined more than a regular seat. I like to lean back and relax while driving...not sit all upright and uptight.
  11. I have one of these... http://www.www.premiere-electronics.net/store/magnums3.html Astatic (don't know the number) and Wilson antenna.
  12. I played some baseball in h.s. and bar league softball afterwards. I like to take it a step further and turn the echo all the way up on my cb and make fart noises, holding the mic until it trails off. Where it really gets funny is if you screw with the duration on the echo...fast to slow or vice versa.
  13. Well, my better half is 5'1...so I feel a bit better. But our kids will never be basketball players.
  14. "Night at the Roxbury" comes to mind. Did you ever jam out to "what is love..." ?
  15. LOL...do it! My kid came runnin over to me and asked me what I was laughin so hard at... I thought I was the only one who had to look at and figure out what extremity it was.
  16. Start dating really fat girls so you don't waste bullets.
  17. It's hell being short ain't it? I'm a whoppin 5'9. I can't ride with no air in the seat so I have just enough in it...but you can't beat the feeling when the air-ride seat bottoms out. The Peterbilt style clutch is hard to get used to. Whenever I hop in my brother's truck I'm always afraid my foot is going to slip off...only I'm in it usually to move it in or out of the shed.
  18. Just do like that one cop in the suburbs did. He was in his 50's with a girl fresh outta highschool. But don't kill your ex's.
  19. I like to watch people do that, just for pure amusement. Only we've got quarries around here with some pretty steep drives out. You either see a guy creeping up in first gear or sitting there with parts strewn about.
  20. I think $3500 is a pretty low estimate for that too. I know a couple people who are/were waiting in line for the program at the college here...I told 'em I'd teach them for $3000. No luck yet though...
  21. Wish I could find land for $99 an acre...
  22. I was lucky enough to get to learn with my dad's old R-model with the 2-stick 6sp...with 40' hopper trailer. Funny story...the DMV guy who gave me the road test was about 400lbs and on an r-model the passenger door opens about 2/3 as far as the drivers door does. When he opened the door and saw how far it went, you could see the look of disappointment on his face... Needless to say, the test was a quick one.
  23. Ha hahahaha...ahh..sure! Take Rowdy for example...he's on his way to becoming a real estate baron, 4 vehicles.
  24. You can't have much on me...you said you graduated something in '97. Maybe if it was graduate school then maybe you might be a gray hair.... I graduated h.s. in '98...went to community college for a semester and a half. Quit when I realized it wasn't for me and before I wasted any more money. Struck it rich (ha!) truck drivin ever since.
  25. Maybe he's got a new lady friend. Remember, back in the day how it went when you were fresh outta highschool...frickin' rabbits.
