Funny how that works when you work for a family run business. There are two that I've worked for, one trucking, the other construction. The trucking company I worked for had 2 kids that were hell on equipment, one of which had multiple DUI's...flipped trailers over, put a truck upside down in a ditch. But if the drivers didn't keep their trucks washed and cabs clean, look out. The construction company, that was just FUBAR. The guys kids were slightly retarded (only explaination really), had some major anger issues...one of which got into a fight and indirectly killed another guy and spent some time in the klink. Couple of the other kids had (might still have) drug problems. How they both remain in business is beyond anyone's comprehension.

Jeezus... Well...I've got Windex, 2 rolls of paper towels, a screw driver, pliers, a little box with various wire ties etc, some wire strippers...and a pocket knife. I don't venture too awful far from home and knock on wood, haven't had a break down big enough to render me immobile...hell, been 4 years since I've had a flat tire. Guess that's what I get for over-maintaining and (every muslim terrorist's wet dream) having all virgins....

Problem is though, by the time I buy the truck it's been through 2 or 3 owners and it's 10 years old. So far, I've learned truck drivers aren't diagnostic electricians. ............. "Ah ha, the problem is...not here or here so much, but RIGHT here........we'll just...run the wires around it forgetting that positive and ground should be two different colors, then use cheap crimps and what not, maybe slop some black tape around the whole works."

I'll drink to that. I'm by far not the best electrician, but I like to just cut out all the bad crap and start over. Only place for spaghetti is on the dinner table.

Go with the 13sp, you will be happier. Some will tell you on here that the extra heat generated by the additional 50hp of the 460 is what causes a lot of the problems in 04-07 year(s).

Gotta check that, long as your prodding and poking around, replace those short rubber hose pieces. Follow the steel hose around the back of the motor and feel for holes, chances are there'll be one on the passenger side near the top of the bellhousing...area. When it leaked it was around 22-25 max psi...replaced the hose it went to 30-35.
