I saw the forecast for yer area in the paper...103 tomorrow in St Louis. Seems we up here are in the meteorlogical hemerroid I.e. the 'ring of fire' and are due 3-5 inches of rain and low 90s for temps. It's always a comfy 66-68 in my truck. Can't stand no a/c in a vehicle. As I type this my windows are fogged up due to the 99% humidity working at night. Rowdy, I'll assume you're pulling a pneumatic tank...back when I did that someone showed me a way to 'back flush' and unplug a hose...can't remember how though because I successfully drank away that part of my memory due to the immense hatred I had for the tanker dooty.

My dad was trying to chase down a low boost situation too on his 88 Rd... He ran two boost gauges, one in the pipe after the turbo and one off the intake manifold. Allegedly there's supposed to be less than 2lbs difference (?)...his had 5lbs+...plugged up CAC. While it may not leak per se, it could be something to look into.

If the 'jake' sounds like a wet fart when it's on, the exhaust brake part of the stealth is working. I think they call it a stealth because you don't know it's on when it's on...(not much stopping power). There's an electrical plug underneath/behind the air cleaner that when unhooked, cancels out the exhaust brake so when the engine brake is on it rattles like a normal jake.

Had that problem with mine...had a middle finger sized hole in it and was losing 8-10lbs of boost. It's kind of a bastard to get out, but once you get to it you'll understand why it gets a hole, they don't leave much room for it back there. If that's the problem, when you put the new one in, find some rubber hose to go over top of all the bends in that pipe then clamp the rubber onto the pipe.

I finally made it down to Florida a couple years ago...not knowing what to expect...but it wasn't what I expected. Kinda like the touristy parts of Mexico, get off the main road and it goes to shit in a hurry. Reminded me of watching the discovery channel shows of the African whatever you call it where the lions and elephants roam.

Can't say I've heard of those. I have a set of BFG's on now and they seem to be alright and I put the centramatics on when I bought those...$3,000 for everything mounted.

Not so much off-road, but constantly turning, sharp turns. If I rotate (front to back, vice versa) the drive tires at the right time, I can get a hundy out of them usually. The only tires I'll drop some coin on is steer tires, the rest is cheapest virgins (ha!) I can get at the time and won't phuck with re-caps.

I'm LUCKY to get 100,000 miles out of a set of drives... Last ones went 90k and were pretty well shot.

Every time I see a Chevy Cavalier or a Dodge Neon, etc...with a fart pipe and a wing driven by someone douche who doesn't know how to properly shift a manual trans...I roll my window down and yell..."your car is GAY!!!"...and then blow their doors off with my 7,200lb diesel pickup.
