1. Sorry, I forgot to edit the quote box code. Nothing to see here...it was just a weather balloon!
2. New info from Watt's!!! We will have our booth open FRIDAY & SATURDAY at the Macungie show! We are going to bring a nice selection of new items including lights and tools, Flitz Polish, Weapon Shield Gun Oil, B-Model Parts, R/DM/RW parts plus all the Mack Truck Novelties and t-shirts!! It should be an impressive array of items!
3. Don't forget...the blue theme is just a click away if you really liked it! Bottom left side of every page is where the color changer is located.
4. Do not be alarmed! I switched the default theme to Stainless! We were using the standard IPB blue theme and I just think we need something a little more exciting! If you are partial to the old blue theme, it is still available in the theme changer at the bottom of every page! Just choose BMT Blue and it will remember your choice! Let me know what you think!
5. They are special 16" bolt on blades...usually have to get them from Mack Dealer...If you can't find them, We can ship a set to you!
6. We are planning on being there SATURDAY only! We extended hours at the shop but don't have the man power to pull off a 2 day show! Someone has to watch the shop and my guys aren't up to 16 hour shifts! LOL! We are able to schedule everything out and are going to be at the show Friday and Saturday! See you there!
7. I just finished the new Show Website! Check it out here: http://www.wattstruckcenter.com/show.php I'll be adding more info as it becomes available!
8. Show flyer is complete! show_flyer_email_only.pdf
9. Yes, there will be places to park trailers at the show.
10. The 6th Annual Watt's Truck Center and BigMackTrucks.com Truck and Equipment show will be held on August 24th, 2013! Be sure to mark your calendars and watch for something new this year! We are teaming up with several of the local antique truck clubs so they can have their shows at our location! Many of these clubs will be organizing convoys for their areas to our show in New Alexandria, PA! I am hoping it generates some media coverage as several convoys of old iron take to the highways! It should be awesome! If you are interested in having your club convoy to the show, let me know or get in touch with Bill Powell...he is helping to spearhead Operation Convoy! Watt's is celebrating their 65th year as a Mack Truck Dealer so we will probably be holding an open house in conjunction with the show this year...more information to follow on that! It's going to be a big one this year, guys! As usual, it is FREE to register and attend! There will be door prizes, entertainment and dash plaques for show vehicles! More information will be posted as it becomes available...mark your calendars - August 24th, 2013! Show website: http://www.wattstruckcenter.com/show.php
11. If you need any of the nationally back-ordered EUP pumps for your Mack, call Watt's today! We have access to genuine Bosch EUP's at less than the cost of Mack's part number. These are the same Bosh pumps that Mack uses but direct from the company. Call me before they are gone too! 1-888-304-6225 Ask for Barry

Looks like you got them working, Red?
13. Sounds interesting but I'll have to do a little research on how to implement a drivers board. We do have a free transportation board that seems to do ok.
14. Oh yeah...if you resize a photo it does indeed take up less space. Recommended size is 800px for web viewing. We don't have a space issue as of now but a little preventive maintenance will save us a lot of trouble in the future! The biggest problem right now is that members are running out of upload space and I just can't keep increasing the allowed upload space or we will end up like the Twinkie scene in Ghostbusters! Hotlinking to photo hosting sites is one way to help photo posting members!
15. Any photo hosting site should work just fine...I can work on a tutorial but here is the short and sweet: 1. Upload your photos to hosting site 2. Copy the code from the photo you want to post while you are viewing it on the hosting site. It should look like this: 3. Past everything you see in the code above (including the tags) into your BMT post. Click POST and you are done! You photo will appear in the post as normal! If you want to practice, try it in the TEST FORUM. Our BMT Gallery also provides the tag code just like a hosting site!
16. Photobucket is one of my favorites, but Picaso and Flickr will work the same way and are fine to use here! Just copy and paste the code that the hosting site gives you. There are actually many free hosting sites out there and they will all work here fine! I just referenced Photobucket because that is what I usually use.
17. Hey guys, I just wanted to remind everyone that there is another option for uploading photos to BMT...one that will help us save disc space. As some of you already know...uploading to the forums uses up your allotted space and once it is full, you can't upload anymore. The same thing happens to our server on a bigger scale. One way to avoid that is to open a free account on www.photobucket.com Once you have an account, you can upload your photos from your PC to the Photobucket account and then just copy and paste their links to your posts on BMT! It doesn't use any of your upload space and the photos will remain on photobucket until the end of time. All posts here will remain intact as long as you never move or rename the photo within your photobucket account. You can also do the same with our built in gallery. It uses a separate area of storage so it shouldn't affect your forum upload space but it still does fill the server's disc space. The gallery is optimized for photo storage though so it isn't too bad. But seriously, give Photobucket a try if you plan on uploading a lot of photos to a post or if you have run out of upload space! It is easy to use and very powerful! Edited to add: Any of the many free photos hosting sites will work fine on BMT such ad Picaso, Flickr and Tinypic! I just referenced Photobucket because that is what I use and I am more familiar with it.
18. Ramaley used to be a good customer of ours! Walt was one of the owners but died several years ago...he could tell a tall tale but he was a good guy! Looks like this old mixer is a survivor!
19. Thanks everyone! I'm starting to feel as old as some of these trucks! LOL! Sorry for the slow reply...I just got finished replying to all the Facebook wishes! Mike...I still have your 12 days of Christmas prize! It's good for at least 6 months!
20. I'm alive but I still don't feel like it! 24 hour bug feels more like 72 plus hours so far!
21. Again, the export debate is one thing...I'm just asking that all BMT members (other than scammers and spammers) be treated with respect. That is all, carry on.
22. I validated him...see if he can log in now.
23. As most of you know, we had a pretty ugly thread about exporting parts and trucks that turned into some mild bashing that offended some of our International Members. I just want to remind everyone that BMT is here to be a help and a service to everyone that enjoys Mack Trucks and those that depend on Mack Trucks to get their work done. I realize that everyone has different views and opinions on this topic and I can appreciate that. All I ask is that if you don't want to sell parts or trucks to other countries, that is your right to not do so but please don't bash or flame other members. They came here looking for help as we are the premier place to get information and help on Mack Trucks! Likewise, if you suspect a member of trying to scam, troll or spam the forum with requests outside of the classified area, please hit the report button and the staff will deal with it. I have had a number of international members PM me with discern about that thread and the attitude of some of the guys here...some long time members even want to be removed from the forum because of what was said. We have some really upstanding members from overseas and I would like them to feel welcome as well! I have locked the other thread and would like for us to not revisit that debate...Like I said, I can appreciate both views on this topic but there is no right or wrong answer so lets all just agree to get along! Lets make sure BMT remains the best place on the internet for anyone to come and get information, help, support and even be able to ask for parts no matter where they are from. That's all I ask! Thanks everyone! Barry
24. This is a tough thread to moderate since there are various angles and ideas...but the fact is that sellers have the choice of who to sell to...with all the scams on the internet lately it is no wonder many are reluctant to sell to international buyers. But I would like to remind everyone that we do have good people from around the world here as members including folks from Australia, The Netherlands, Europe, Russia...etc. Some have already PM'd my with concern over the attitude of this thread and some have requested to be removed from this forum as they don't want to be part of BMT anymore. Out of respect for everyone, I am going to close this thread and would ask that we don't revisit this debate. If you don't want to sale international, that is fine...Likewise, if you are here to spam the forum with purchase requests, you will be banned! Please keep wanted to buy ads in the appropriate classified section. Thank you... Barry
25. Sounds like a great challenge!
