  1. I have invision looking at it, but I still haven't heard as to why this happens. It could be too large of a pic or an internal software bug. I'll call again to see if they found anything. Can you email me the original photo you posted that turned up a black thumbnail? It may help to see what size it is... wmsi@alltel.net Thanks, Barry
  2. Chances are that the toggle switch went bad. It is a 3 position 6 pole swicth. May be a 5 pin relay in the glove that you can check, also. I will see if I can get a wiring diagram, but I will need the complete vin or model and last 6 of the vin... Oh, and welcome to BMT!! Hope you enjoy the forums!
  3. I talked to Dallas Fabian about this a few weeks ago! He said it a yearly tradition Down Under and Mack has dominated the challenge almost every year!
  4. Welcome to BMT! Feel free to join in the discussions anytime! We'd love to hear from you!

  6. They were $850...but we are working on getting them reproduced. I hope to cut the cost also! Watch for news around mid summer...
  7. Hi Folks, I just got done working out some of the bugs from the BMT Event Calendar! I've started entering upcoming events for truck and tractor shows, but I also want to encourage you to enter the dates for shows you are involved in or even just planning on going to. Just check to make sure the dates aren't already listed. If you need help, just IM or call me... Link to the Calendar Thanks, Barry

  16. Hi ddot, welcome to BMT! I split your topic so you will get more welcomes! Hope you enjoy the forums!
  17. I have the s/p switch etc...but I agreee with MACKS, if you can't get it started by pulling it, something else is wrong. More than likely it is something with the fuel system...
  18. I moved this topic to the Fire Truck Forum so the Fire Truck guys will see it...they will have a good idea of what it takes to restore a fire truck especially if you are going to keep it as a pumper...
  19. Looks like you have a model: DM492S there! It should have an Allison MT643 Tranny...I can't look up parts for the Allisons, but you should be able to call any Allison dealer for the back up switch.
  20. I think a 673 would have enough balls to run 65-70. but it all depends on the running gears...I would go with a 237 re-power though, just because parts are getting harder to find for the 673's...just my 2 cents worth...
  21. Matt, did you remember to change the motor mounts before you installed that V8? LOL Looking good! Can't wait to see the finished product!
  22. Lookin good! You'll have her ready to roll in no time!
  23. We have sold some 4" cat back side pipe conversions for the Ford 7.3 Powerstrokes...I gotta say that they sound very simular to the Mack V8!
