  7. yup, what Terry said. some people like short cab shields, some like full shields. then there are some who do not run anything at all. front wall of the bed comes up, and just stops. 😵 i prefer full shield. it not only protects the paint, but also me if anything is dropped near the cab.
  8. you mean other than everyone walking around wearing black pajamas, speaking chinese, and eating with chopsticks?
  9. in winter 76/77 we had a BAD fire in a welfare apartment complex. lost 3 buildings with 24 units in each. i did not know i had pinholes in my boots, and gloves. well, my boots and gloves filled up with water. we were so damn cold i never knew..... until i went to take them off and the outside next to the gloves and boots was frozen. i have had issues with my hands and feet due to the frostbite from that "adventure" ever since.
  10. yup. but then again the old man did not have to tell us to go help back then, we did it automatically because that was what we did. help neighbors, especially the elderly. even if we did not like them.
  11. live hydraulics. that style pump is usually used on a cement mixer, or government truck so PTO pump does not need to be used all the time.
  12. as long as you have a master plan........... that does not include total world domination!!! 😁
  13. oh well, can't hurt to try. 😁
  14. trailer lights come on with headlight/park light switch .
  15. i remember back when NYC used to scoop the snow/ice into dump trucks, drive them out onto a pier in the river. put 2-3 gallons of gas in the load, and toss a 5 minute flair in the body. then dump it off the pier. there used to be flaming icebergs floating out in the bay.
  16. for us it was the snow storm of 62. snow drifts were 25 foot plus deep in places. being on the end of the road on top of a hill, we were able to get out through the second floor windows. 2 houses up the road had to be brought out through a hole cut in the roof. it took the town two weeks to get the roads open with bulldozers because the drifts were just too deep for the front loaders to bust through.
  17. you want to redo my interior when you are done with yours?
  18. yup. a way we used to get rid of tailgaters back in the good old truck days was turn off the key and stab the brakes. i do not recommend doing this these days, back then we were young and stupid. but after two or three times running up under the truck they got the message and would back off.
  19. not sure on the white canister, i have never seen one like that. CL LPS turns on the two outside roof lamps.
  20. old news, nothing to see here, move on....
  21. here in central jersey was a mix of snow and ice. if i remember correctly power was out for 4-5 days, but it made no difference to me because i was out in a cat 988 pushing/digging out drifts for 7 days. we had a total of 5 front end loaders on the streets of bayone nj, and 3 bulldozers down on the riverbanks pushing off the snow the trucks dumped there into the river. they were using a gas powered pump to suck diesel out of the in ground tank to fill the service truck to come out and fill up all the machines.
  22. but do we really want peeloosley in there?? that alcoholic is even worse than hitlery, obummer, creepy joe, and the hoe combined!!!
  23. yup. that cab design is very popular with steel fabrication shops.
