  1. looks more like a Kenworth T-680
  2. it matches all the rest of the uggly european trucks.
  3. fairly easy. i got all the makes correct, and 17 of the 21 years correct.
  4. sure are!! even the Pierce Arrow cars are getting to be rarer than hens teeth these days.
  5. i agree Rowdy. my 2014 pickup has them, but they are disabled. everything else i own is old enough to not have those silly things because they are actually made of steel, not plastic like newer cars.
  6. try using the trolley if it has one to turn the cruise off. my old 99 R model had a bad foot switch. it would not turn the brake lights on or the cruise off until you really stepped on the pedal.
  7. brake lights turn the cruise off.
  8. it would be a lot nicer of them to actually get the parts to replace the defective air bags. my 87 year old parents are in a car with no airbags because there are no replacement parts available to fix their car.
  9. my 05 CV713 had the 427 with an eaton 8LL trans it was a rocket!. would out pull, and out run the 05 T800 kenworth with the 470 C13 and 8LL trans i would still have it, but someone offered 25 grand more than what we paid for it and the boss sold it.
  10. nothing is as uggly as a volvo!!!
  11. looking good. maybe it will be done in another year? 😁
  12. that area is mostly pig and chicken farmers getting forced out by developers and imported town leaders that do not like the smell. my bet is it is either owned by one of the farmers getting forced out, or more likely by a developer that found it on the farm he bought and trying to cash in on someone that saves old things.
  13. ya know what? you may be correct. that was 30 years ago. 12V71 in front and 671 in rear. they were rock/coal pans from Pennsylvania. heavy buggers too.
  14. i used to love the 12V71 in the front of the terex TS 36. perfect heater for those cold winter days. sucked in the summer though, inside the cab got up around 130 degrees.
  15. there was a very big M&G yard in port newark nj. they hauled all the cars that came into and out of the port all over the northeast.
  16. you all should find a way to drive behind any JB Hunt facility and look at the "carnage yard" . the one in East Brunswick NJ has about a 4 acre "carnage yard" and it is usually full of both truck and trailers that are all tore up. usually 75% trailers and 25% trucks. it is plainly visible from the landfill behind it. i always look in whenever i go to the landfill to see new additions or the repair process on the wrecks.
  17. same with milling and paving operations. automatic trans is a gift from god himself!!!.
  18. you can't hurt something they do not have!!!
  19. this is an older video. the original posting of it was longer, with the original poster explaining that the wide spot you see on the left in the beginning out of the pickup was actually the large truck detour, and all this driver had to do was back up and make a left. apparently though, he could not back up straight far enough to be able to make the left after realizing he could not fit under the bridge, so he decided to make the u turn and destroy the truck and trailer.
  20. Volvo. plain and simple. they will not be happy until the mack name is completely ruined.
  21. 115 BPA is very good. here in Joisey you are lucky to see 75 BPA.
  22. can't really tell from the picture
  23. that old "R" model Intercrashional on the right end is a sexy beast too!!!
  24. exactly!! three years ago we got a new areal truck. we could not give the old one away. it only had 17,000 miles on it, but since it was 21 years old no one could take it without having to put close to $200,000 into it for a 10 year recertification extension. so we gave it to the county fire academy for training use.
