  1. speedo and tach are Kenworth units Vlad. the panel they sit in should be gray plastic just like the dash, not stainless steel or aluminum. the parking brake light should be under the high beam indicator as 1 inch square lights, and not the single little indicator light that is between the gauges. .
  2. my ex used to tell me i was an azz hole all the time and i don't ever remember eating azz hole.
  3. when my 05 did that, it was overcharged ac. i bled off a few ounces of refrigerant and the problem went away. i think the high side switch was weak and reading too high pressure.

  6. bob, my problem is all my pictures are on photobucket, and if i try to get them back on my computer they either show the size of postage stamps, or will not load at all. my daughter and grand daughter both tried, and neither of them had any luck figuring it out either. and the daughter works with computer programing all day long.

  10. ain't that the truth!!!
  11. it really amazes me how the pioneers could build a log house with nothing but an axe, and make it almost perfectly square. but the builders of 1940's through 2000 can not even get within 2 inches of square with all the technology they had at their disposal.
  12. the crash that killed Troy was less than 1 mile away from the airport where people were gathering for a concert he was playing in a few hours.
  13. plus most of the contractors back then figured "close enough" was close enough and did not bother using a plumb bob, T-square, or in the event of the guy that built my house, a ruler
  14. i have spent the past twenty years fixing all the buiders screwups. i am at the point that now i can hang a door or window and actually have it open. i also have the place fairly level, there is now only about a 1 inch pitch over the 48 foot front to rear. when i bought the place it was closer to 5 inches off pitch front to rear, and the building was almost 3 inches off square front to rear. 4 20 ton jacks can do a lot of work when trying to square and level a house. as long as there are enough nails in it to hold it together when trying to move it.
  15. is there a way to switch from opening threads on first post to opening them on last post when clicking on view unread content?
  16. i think this guy built my house. there is not one square corner in the whole place.

  21. i really like the picture of ole Gus earning his keep with the loaded trailer hooked up.
  22. yup, all the R's i ran had wear plates there to keep the cab from wearing through the fiberglass of the hood.
  23. Tulsa manufacturing and Marmon-Herrington are two that i know of. as for cost, it would probably be more than the truck is worth
  24. a lot of money, or a 4X4 donor truck to get the parts from.
  25. we would never be allowed to get away with scratching the surface for footings. here in joisey we have to go down AT LEAST 3 feet, my town wants 4 foot
