  1. i have two large freezers. one in house and one out in the garage. i also have costco and bj's both within 5 miles of house, costco south and bj's northwest. sams is 15 miles away. walmart is across the highway from bj's, and supe rwalmart is 8 miles south west. and i have NEVER been in a walmart. anything that can go bad is bulk bought. i then separate it into meal size portions and vacuum pack it, date the bag, and toss it in one of the freezers. newest in garage and move old date into house.
  2. no wipers? that is a true good weather retired truckers driver!!! 🤣
  3. just the fact that people with money can pay off the rite person to magically turn a hazardous waste site into developable land. a salvage/junk yard is usually considered a hazardous waste site due to years of oil and other liquids coming out of the vehicles into the yard.
  4. it is the time difference messing with your eyes Bob.
  5. both my grandparents were too old, dad was too young. dads father was born in 1886. moms father in 1901. dad in 1930 dads father was a farmer and had medical deferment for 1 leg 2 inches shorter than the other as he was stomped by a horse at 9 years old . moms father was a machinist with singer sewing machine and made guns in WW1 and WW2 dad spent 3 1/2 years in Annapolis navel hospital after the rotor bearing of the Kaman dual prop chopper he was piloting seized causing the two rotors to hit each other. one of the rotors came down through the cabin taking his face off the day before he was supposed to ship to Korea. his replacement was shot down and killed first flight out.
  6. back in 81 i was helping a friend out picking up a load of trees with the truck that would later try to kill me. it was a 74 or 75 u model with air start. i got to the landscape yard rite at lunchtime. the owner directed me to park rite where the guys were sitting down for lunch. i shut the truck off. 45 minutes later the owner told me to fire it up as all the guys were napping and they only had a 30 minute lunch. i never saw a group of Mexicans move so fast in my life as when that air starter went off!!! and the owner of the yard was rolling on the ground laughing his assterisk off.🤣 apparently he knew the truck had the air start, and wanted to teach those guys a lesson.
  7. yup.. almost sound like the turbo has thrown a bearing and is about to lock up.
  8. yup. it all boils down to who gets paid off. look at Colonia NJ in 1967 they built a school complex on top of an old commercial sight where radioactive materials were used. claim was the site was clean.. in 1990 students were being taught how to use a Geiger counter. it went nuts and the school was evacuated. when a radioactive rock was found. on the ground it was covered up. now 30 years later there are reports of 120 former students of that school having, or or have died of brain cancer.
  9. with land prices going through the stratosphere here in central New Jersey, all the scrap yards are being sold of for either condom complexes stacked like sardines in a can, or 1,000,000 square foot warehouse buildings.
  10. Paul, i just looked and i cant find a way to send him a password reset. it may just be easier for him to re register... i will see it and approve rite away.
  11. we are growing a thriving constituency of freaking brain dead idiots. every day i see the movie "Idiocracy" becoming more and more a reality. ☹️
  12. typical libtard thinking: ff we erase the history, we can claim it never happened. then we can do it all over again and be just as surprised as we were the first time.
  13. growing up on the farm way way way way back a long long long time ago, we had a trifuel boiler down in the basement. could burn coal, wood, or fuel oil. since we had plenty of woods, we usually burned wood in it. coal when we could find it cheap enough.. coal would last almost twice as long as wood, but we had to pay for it. the 500 gallon oil tank lasted over 10 years because it would only burn oil if the fire was not stoked. and i would get my butt kicked if the fire went out. so every morning before breakfast it was fill the firebox and again every night before supper.
  14. well well, speak of the devil and he shows up!! how goes it Sam? love watching you and Matt shenanigans. ne we need to get Matt on here as he is a Mack owner for the past few months
  15. my B815 was like that, and to a degree some of the 70's DM-800's too. great AC in winter, and even better heat in summer!!! i would get in the cab in the summer 5 am weighing 160 pounds.... and get out at 5 pm weighing 150. 145 if running asphalt. and lets not even mention the "armstrong" steering!!!
