  1. or he don't want him up there yet.😁
  2. there are much worse things we will have to put up with!! 😁 here are hopes and wishes for a speedy recovery, 👍
  3. because the freaks are trying to take over the world. and the politicians are letting them do it 🤬
  4. it will be breaking news at 10 am. just before the pedo joe impeachment is announced so the impeachment will become page 11 news.
  5. sorry, no pictures, that move was made back in 89.
  6. biggest move i ever made was a 16 foot diameter 150 foot long 245,000 lb cracking tower from a refinery to the waterfront 5 miles away. move was supposed to take 10 hours. 2 miles into the move something was missed and blew out 37 tires as we were crossing a multiple track railroad crossing. power and phone companies all over the place raising, or disconnecting wires across the road as needed for me to pass. ended up taking 26 hours. truck was a 59 autocar tri drive with a V16 cummins, 5 speed main, 4 speed auxilary and 4 speed reducer trans. giant planitary drive rears, and 14/24 tires. had a top speed of 23 MPH. trailer was 20 sections of 6 axle Mammut modular transporters. i was hired to do the escort, and declined it because i did not have the manpower to do it properly so they asked me to drive the rig instead.
  7. nah the walmartians sounds betterrer. 6 foot around the asterisk, and 3 inches around the ankles.
  8. the crackheads around here were blowing stuff up until 4 am. good thing THEY do not have to get up to go to work at 5 or 6 am.
  9. the kids are here watching one of the star bores movies rite now!!
  10. i ran DM for many years at 6 foot and 280 lbs. never had problem with the cab being too small. only thing i had to make sure of was the seat was ALL the way back.
  11. no, that was back in 79. in 80 we traded it in on a MR
  12. ok, i have no knowledge of the CF. i will say though that my 75 F and MB trucks both had plastic dashes.
  13. i very rarely use amazoo. 99% of the time i can find whatever i am looking for locally a lot cheaper. and if not, i will find it cheaper online with free shipping.
  14. the last steel dash made was in 72 or 73. by 74 model year all macks had the plastic dash. all the steel dash truck after 74 either had early cabs put on the frame, or had mismatched titles.
  15. pepsi distributor here was SUPPOSED to be ordering 200 tesla semis. used one for three days. after the third beakdown, they canceled the order and ordered 200 new T600 kenworths. about 150 have already been delivered.
  16. the dm and rd cabs are about the same size, but are not interchangeable as the dm is offset. the rd sits centered on frame.
  17. that white DM is more a prime mover than an on road truck. planetary rear axles, and 14-24 wheels. i have used those air intakes before, the ones we had were pre filters. trapped the dust to prevent clogging the primary air filter beneath it
  18. that i dont know, never heard of it done though. is this the truck on govdeals?
  19. at 45 i have to deal with all the askwholes doing 90+ in a 55 zone weaving between all 3 lanes like a nascar driver 2 laps down on the last lap. i was never a speeder, because i never worked for percentage, by the ton, or by the load. i get paid hourly. if the contractor tells me i need to go faster i give him my paperwork and tell him to sign me out. i learned a long long long time ago slow and steady wins the race. guys get loaded and speed away. than stop for 1/2 hour each load. than speed back to the job. at the end of the day they say I have to be speeding because they are always 10-15 mph over the speed limit, but i do one or two loads more than them. but the job supers know better.
  20. does the dash look like this? : if answer is yes, the truck is not a 75. last year for the steel "round dash" was 72/73. by 74 all mack trucks had the new design plastic dashboards. like this:
  21. nah. just safe. WAY too many brain dead steering wheel holders out there rolling over three -four trucks every day just in my state alone. i am a right lane runner. in 54 years driving i have had 1 ticket for not coming to a full stop at a stop sign when i was 18, and 4 accidents...none of which were my fault.
  22. I ad almost the same load going 120 miles three weeks ago. Only difference was a bucket instead of the miller head. Put the front chain and binder on, than boss called and distracted me. Jumped in truck and left. 120 miles later I pulled into the job to see the chains and binders laying on the deck, next to my 3/4 full cup of coffee. And nothing moved. When loaded, I do not go over 45 mph.
  23. Mehhh. That aint nothing. I am trying to post true rednek engamineerin in the shop talk thread, but am having issues with the pictures
  24. oh well, sorry but the pictures will not load. 3 foot over hang in front, and touching each other, with the rear machine attachment touching the rear ramps. plus there was 1 miller head, 1 broom, 2 flat buckets, and 12 ton clean stone in the body because someone forgot to bring the mason dump with the 18 foot bobcat trailer this morning. but i gotter done, because i are a perfessamanal
