i actually don't have one of them, but the hand held i do use has a burned out back light. so to read it i have to play with a small led light at an angle to see the screen.

those trains smoke like that for a few reasons. #1: piss poor maintenance, as long as it runs, leave it alone. #2: they are 50-60 years old. most soviets don't give a damn about the environment.

i never learned how to shift with a clutch. i was taught clutch was for starting and panic stopping only.

the most diplomatic way to do that is keep quiet, and report the post/person. let the forum moderators take care of it. this way you still come out of the exchange smelling or roses, and us moderators get to show we earn our pay. 😁

i am involved with 8 forums on a bunch of subjects. only two allow politics, and then only in the specific politics and religion sections. and one you need to be a paying member to access the politics section.

any thread that has not gone 180 degrees off course after the first page, was not a thread worth reading.

a lot of the old members decided to start a poop storm for some reason known only to them. they were asked to stop, or leave. so they left. we still are not sure why, or what set them off.

that is the main reason i will never sell the Miller Bluestar 2E AC/DC, is the reverse polarity switch. you can do things with that machine others cant do.

i still have the 240 volt lincoln 215 powermig with spool gun, and the miller bluestar 2A gas powered stick welder. plus a set of torches i have not used in 15 years, and 40 amp plasma cutter that replaced the torches. i sold the miller bobcat 225nt, the miller thunderbolt, lincoln SA200, and the 110 volt little lincoln 140

yea, i tried to contact him a few times sunday but the missing security certificate kept bouncing pm's and emails back as undeliverable. than when i logged on monday morning it was already fixed.

i first heard him back in 84. every day at 12 noon on one of the local nu yawk radio stations. i miss him, his broadcasts always made sense. -
