  1. oh well, can't hurt to try. 😁
  2. trailer lights come on with headlight/park light switch .
  3. i remember back when NYC used to scoop the snow/ice into dump trucks, drive them out onto a pier in the river. put 2-3 gallons of gas in the load, and toss a 5 minute flair in the body. then dump it off the pier. there used to be flaming icebergs floating out in the bay.
  4. for us it was the snow storm of 62. snow drifts were 25 foot plus deep in places. being on the end of the road on top of a hill, we were able to get out through the second floor windows. 2 houses up the road had to be brought out through a hole cut in the roof. it took the town two weeks to get the roads open with bulldozers because the drifts were just too deep for the front loaders to bust through.
  5. you want to redo my interior when you are done with yours?
  6. yup. a way we used to get rid of tailgaters back in the good old truck days was turn off the key and stab the brakes. i do not recommend doing this these days, back then we were young and stupid. but after two or three times running up under the truck they got the message and would back off.
  7. not sure on the white canister, i have never seen one like that. CL LPS turns on the two outside roof lamps.
  8. old news, nothing to see here, move on....
  9. here in central jersey was a mix of snow and ice. if i remember correctly power was out for 4-5 days, but it made no difference to me because i was out in a cat 988 pushing/digging out drifts for 7 days. we had a total of 5 front end loaders on the streets of bayone nj, and 3 bulldozers down on the riverbanks pushing off the snow the trucks dumped there into the river. they were using a gas powered pump to suck diesel out of the in ground tank to fill the service truck to come out and fill up all the machines.
  10. but do we really want peeloosley in there?? that alcoholic is even worse than hitlery, obummer, creepy joe, and the hoe combined!!!
  11. yup. that cab design is very popular with steel fabrication shops.
  12. that is one funny looking intercrashional!!! looks like a L-190
  13. i think they were BOTH picked to make peeloosely president. cause both will be impeached and convicted before the first 4 years.
  14. you can try this: click in the box, and it will take you to the page with all the replies.
  15. it is a early 80's volvo constructor model. a local sand pit bought a few for local delivery use. they were junk. within 5 years they were all parked and sold and replaced by macks. .
  16. man oh man. an 80 u model with a 235, 5 speed, 2/55 air conditioning, and armstrong steering!! those were made back when truck drivers were men, not steering wheel holders.
  17. not bad looking rig. i wonder if it runs? and the name, Brian Thibeault looks familiar.
  18. agreed. a lot of these trucks came with daytime running lights. if the parking brake is off, the headlights are on. only thing that will turn them off is pulling the DRL relay.
  19. the only thing we can hope for is proof that the election was rigged. but unfortunately, i really think all that evidence is already destroyed.
  20. i heard they could not find any of the 81 million biden supporters to attend the inauguration. so instead, they put 200,000 flags in the great mall.
  21. I don't believe for one second biden pulled it off, or probably had anything to do with it other than he being the puppet picked to look like he led the mess. This was all planned by the democratic party, and the likes of gates, soros, Bloomberg, and some foreign countries that would do anything to get rid of trump. Do you REALLY believe someone that could not get 100 people show up at a rally could get 81 million votes without cheating?
  22. swishy it ain't the fact the team lost. it is the fact the team lost due to election rigging . there is no way possible biden could possibly get 81 million votes without cheating..
  23. if the tags are still on the door and B pillar, the axle ratio will be on one of them too.
  24. as Jojo said, take your time shifting. this is not going to be like most multirange transmissions where you snap gears. these mack 5 speeds are slow shifters. as i used to tell my guys, pull it out of gear, take a nap, and when you wake up slip it into the next gear. with that 237 5 speed, run it up to 2100 rpm, slip it out of gear, and it should fall into the next gear around 13-1400 rpm if i remember correctly. also if it has been sitting a long time, loosen the air intake and have something handy to plug up the air intake in case the fuel pump sticks open. i have seen a few run away when firing up after sitting a long time.
