On another site I can't remember there was a guy claiming to be a mack employee that said that they are fighting with Australia to get the sleepers over here for the titan and a new superliner but Australia won't give them the go ahead because they own the rights of the design . I don't know if its true or b.s.

  7. That 05 is a Mack engine ac 427 is a e7 with egr . the mp series didn't come out til 06 and only in set back axle granite and visions. Model yr 08 is when mp series became standard equipment. So yes the 03 is also s mack eng. The 03 could be a late etech non egr

  9. I remember in 07 or 08 navistar was supposed to buy gm med duty division but pulled out out at the last minute . this would be ironic.

  11. If cash isn't an issue you could find a used titan like an 09/10 pre urea and pull the mp 10 out and swap in a e9 . would take some fabrication and wiring engineering but would be cool as hell

  15. Yeah i dont like the quiet exhaust on the new ones. I'd say the engine brake is the best thing about the titans. That and the commanding view of the road. Mine has the 2060 torque so it pulls like a freight train. Ive passed some triaxle dumps with my truck and pup grossing 35 k more than them . one was superliner with a 350 and the other a Volvo with a 465. I think in a few years we will get the scr/dpf delete kits for ours.
  16. Its not a stock etech . big difference. That 525 only has 1860 torque the 460 if its a xt has 1760 in stock form. Add stage 2 injectors and your probably up to 1900 or more and probably 550 HP so not a surprise. Plus the mp 10 isn't broke in. I know our 460xt with stage 2 injectors would out pull our stock e9 500 . also the heavier you load the mp10 the more impressive they are . I pull 115 k the same speed as I do at 100 k .
  17. I've never heard of a Ford having better resale value than a Chevy or a GMC, especially in a half ton. Maybe the new Ecoboost but never a V8 half ton.

They've been good but mine had a loose gear in the back of the engine that runs the air compressor . a bolt from it put a hole in the backing plate of the engine . they gave me a brand new engine at 4 k miles . it has 30 k on it now and no problems. The other 2 have been good over 200k miles combined on those ones.
  19. Needs a 320 wheelbase so it'll get around better in tight spots . I've been told that by few supertruckers in "peterbuilts"
  20. I never understood the distribution of bulldog mag. We got a few issues in the late 90s after buying a new CL But stopped getting them after 2 or 3 issues and never got any more even after buying a new ch in 2000 and 2 CL gliders in 2003 and 2007 and now 3 titans in 2 years and havsent received a issue of bulldog
  21. There's a few vhd's around my neck of the woods. I know one guy with a 03 he bought brand new he loves it . its a set back axle one . ugly but he says it gets around good . it has a 435 Volvo and t ride suspension.

  23. we've had never luck with the Rockwell full lockers. Ever never blown a Rockwell and were blown alot of Mack 50k rears
