Parked regen ? I wouldnt think your truck would do a parked regen unless something was wrong and it was at a dealer. My 2015 has never done a parked regens while working and it has 200k miles

Last spring we spec out a granite with a 18 speed mack and a granite with a 13 speed M drive . The M drive was 7k more than the maxitorque I was surprised. Our mack salesman pushed the mack 18 speed ahead of the M drive but he was a old school mack guy. The last 3 macks we bought (titans) had Eaton 18 speeds with the 2050 rating and we didn't care for them as o e of the eatons blew up at 200k miles .so if we got another mack it would have been a maxitorque or m drive but we ended up with a kenworth as it was cheaper with a cummins x15 than a granite with a 13 liter. We had 18 speed macks in our older macks they were good and rated for 2060 torque even though the engines only had 1560 -1760.

We had our s turned up to 605 ,warranty is over so it only cost 300 bucks a piece .

Probably egr problems.

Mine had a actuator go but I couldn't even drive the truck our of the yard. Certainly it wouldn't do 55. My egr valve stuck open and boost was all over the map.

Turbo actuator or egr . Is it building exhaust temp if you rev it up

Mack hiring 400 more employees,gonna be most ever employees in the factory .things can't be to bad.

I've always thought mack lost its way in the 90s when they kind of turned into a cookie cutter type truck. Never building a traditional looking truck based on the ch cab design. It's like they said buy sloped hood trucks or go elsewhere,we don't want your business , mack became a wimpy looking truck .

How long before they run out of good engine cores ? How many rebuilds before the block is no more good ?

That's good news . I'm starting to like the anthem . At first I thought it was a dumb name but now it sounds pretty good certainly some hint of Americana . Some of the anthems look very cool to me .

I'd like to know his opinion of the anthem? I saw somewhere mack took 3700 orders for it on day one. Can that be true ?

To me these are actually probably in reality the best case scenario. They still use the mack design cab improved it for the fleets atleast it's not a volvo cab . The truck can be optioned with different grills and without hood mirrors all in all it could be much worse. It could be better but the L ,B,And R series are never coming back I'd drive one of these over a freightliner any day. I am still hoping mack brings a big bore engine back to market for my line of work .

I'm not crazy about it . its like anything you get used to it . I remember when the cascadia first came out I said to myself no one is gonna buy that ugly thing !! 6 months later seemed like every other truck was a cascadia !! Certainly mack won't sell as many of these freightliner does but but if your a company that buys the pinnacle cxu you'll probably buy this . I still wonder what the set forward axle truck that they were showing bits of in the mack teaser videos for this truck is . the first video they released showed a complete axle forward sleeper truck with different headlights than the chu has now hood looked like a rd hood . that got my hopes up but then they dropped this thing .. And no axle forward new model . at least they still make the rawhide chu .

This is a daycab anthem. The anthem has a mack CH cab different hood new interior and sleepers not a Volvo cab. One piece windshields have been available for years in the granites, CH, and visions,pinnacles ,titans . our new w900 has a one piece windshield.
