  1. Hi, good to here its getting there. where was that pic taken? Grant
  2. Hi, he said it was going to be a totally new truck, and should be in production soon. a B double cuts the corner to much, the amount of road needed to get around a corner on the same side of the road is alot, a B Double would take out alot of cars there until people started realiseing what they need to do to make the turn. double roadtrains take less road to turn. how ever in saying that B doubles are easier to reverse. I hope they do bring them out there. Grant
  3. Hi, I was at a freightliner dealer today here in Perth Western Australia, he was telling me that in the USA at the moment they are trialing B doubles. now I know there not talking about the 2 pups that get dragged around, he was talking about B doubles like here with a 10 or 12 pallet A trailer and a 22 pallet B trailer, there was also mention of the Argosy 110 going back into production there to hall them. does any one know anything about this? Grant

  9. Hello, they are both not connected to anything, the problem is I have put one truck together out of 4 trucks the motor from the F model, gearbox from a kenworth the cab from an 89model mack, the chassis from a flintstone. so hoses were really not attended to with any interest till I needed them, now I have a truck with all new brakes that needs to be plumbed, all fuel lines need to be done, all lines to every thing actually. I am just putting it back together one bit at a time, I just rebuilt the top end of the compressor and have been working on the dash, pic in gallery. the compressor lines on the governor, wich one is wich? its a truflo 500 on an 866 regards Grant

  14. Hi, where does the power steer reservoir sit on an r700 with an 866? my reservoir has 3 hoses coming out of it to. 2x -6 and 1 x -10 and its a hfb 70 steering box I would have thought the -10 to pump, pump to box, box back to reservoir, whats the other hose for? and I must assume the reservoir must sit higher than the pump? regards Grant

Hi, this is whay all brakes and steering have been done, i am unsure where all the stuff i have is made, its all come in protec red boxes and they are a big supplier of truck parts down here. the question is how to plumb it, i couldnt find a link on the bendix website on how to plumb the truck. 20. Hi, millitary colts have specific markings and it could be worth quite alot of money, 20,000 upwards. its a great find, the barrel also has unique markings that will tell you if it has had a barrel change. Grant
