  1. down here we have 4 or 6 tanks for the outback and i thought the E meant EMPTY not enough! you know, empty, no fuel, not enough to keep engine running but empty wich is just enough to stop a bull dog hehe

Hello, I am not doing anything with the engine but pulling it out and selling it and the 18speed quad. and the flintstone cab and hood can go to! once there out I can drag the rest over to workshop and relocate the diffs 24 inches back from there current position and drill new chassis holes, then strip the poor thing bare. Hello, we have lots of Tautliners down here, we load every thing from the wool bales in pic to amonium nitrate bulka bags for the minesites to just general freight! they normaly have gates inside the curtains however in this pic I have no gates up as the wool bales are like hauling a beached whale and dont fit inside the gates! I hate the things, the curtain rails are never maintained properly and they stick. in this pic there is 220 bales of wool on this load, I was heading to Melbourne from Perth with a GCM of 62tons I was leaving perth around 9 to 10 pm on tuesday nite and ariving in melbourne midnite thursday nite to unload friday morning, melbourne is 3600kms away from perth. the wool allways shifts and moves and your forever retensioning straps.   6. it has thermodyne on valve cover also, so there we have it by the looks, a 250hp endt673c thermodyne. it and the quad box are coming out this week.

Hello, thankyou guys, will look again tomorrow, its a 6cyl, was told its a 260hp 6 with 700lbs torque, the previous owner had said it wasnt a 237, but once i find that engine number it will answer it. i checked pan rail, not there, have checked back of head area, will check timing area tomorrow. regards Grant

  13. Wheres the engine number on this engine? have looked everywhere, am getting ready to pull it out soon, it was driven on road for last time yesterday after been sitting for 6mths, had to back of all the brakes and shift it around the block ready to stip it bare. Grant

I dont want to mount the exhaust on the cab when its built. and we had this descussion a while ago when i was chaseing cab panels! he wanted a vin for that! my response was look at the microfish, they dont make cabs specific to vins! there all the same! funny thing was tho he didnt know what a microfish was either!   15. Theres a good chance it would be as there up on weight of around 200tons I think? we cross these type of rivers a fair bit in the wet season, I usually go for a walk first thru it to see how deep it is. problem is you have to watch out for the dam crocs trying to take a nibble! Grant

We build Mad Max cars actually. that scoop is the same as maxs, Honda civics dont stand a chance with a blown clevo, the nismo jap poop nissan skylines an Soarers are a bit more difficult tho, we have a big block 454 in the Bat car I am building, its got 552hp and 700lbs of torque on the bottle, but you cant beat a tough clevo. regards Grant
  22. getting there, now my biggest problem is working out how I am going to keep the noise of that engine out of the cab, I wanna be able to here a mouse fart in there, any ideas? Holden is part of General Motors/Cev, but hey if you want to rev it, dont chev it! Fords are the go, specially blown ones! my ford coupe is in my album. how ever in saying that GMs um dont have power they back there product much better than those turkeys at ford, I will never buy a new ford again in this country. when I get to the USA will consider it?? hey whats the laws over there for driving say a mack with 3 x 45 footers hanging off the back? how grumpy will the cops get? ) would look good pulling into a truck show for a display. regards Grant
