The radiator is plumbed into the top tube of the bumper. Driving home it was nice and warm whenever I climbed up to check the engine!

My son and I just got back to Nebraska from Denver with my new to me and also first Mack truck. I bought it at Richie bros auction so I don’t have any info from previous owners. There isn’t any id tags that I can find anywhere and it has a new id plate and title issued from the state of Colorado. I watched the truck sell on “bring a trailer” a year ago for 11000$. The vin LJ2DX5210D was listed and shown on a homemade metal tag which is probably why a new number was issued. I did a Quick Look but didn’t see any numbers stamped into the frame to see what the original is. Any advice on where to look? The frame has a lot of yellow under the red paint so I’m guessing it was a state or county road dept truck originally. Has a turbo charged Cummins with no id tag, and a five speed with 4 speed aux transmission, I doubt any of that drivetrain is original, the aux shifter comes up right behind the throttle pedal and kinda locks your foot in there. I drove the truck the 450 miles home on the interstate and got up to 72 mph (2100) and settled on 65 at about 1900 for the drive. Truck had lots of power and drove nice. I was without alternator , the batteries were hooked up positive ground which I’m pretty sure is backwards as it had a ford car alternator on it that wasn’t charging. I’m planning on pulling the wrecker stuff and winch off and fixing this truck up for a fun truck and hauling a little corn occasionally with it.

I just picked this up yesterday. The auction didn’t have much info so it was a shot in the dark albeit with pictures. It has a Cummins c180 engine with a supercharger. The engine tag was only held with one rivet so I pulled it off. It had been running on the fuel line and is scratched up where the HP is listed. Can anyone tell me what it is? What does the date code mean?

On my big cam 400hp Cummins and my nhc250 hp 855’s I can screw in a screw on the fuel shutoff solenoid and bypass the solenoid to run without voltage. I don’t really want any modern computer controlled diesels

It sold on “bring a trailer” for 11000 a year ago, that’s why there were videos on yt, don’t know why it ended up at Richie. Apparently the title wasn’t right so Richie pulled it and got a new vin/Colorado title for it for this sale. I was surprised how low I got it for.

Actually one is north of me in South Dakota and one is in Denver west of me so it will definitely be two trips

Well I jumped in today and bought these two trucks. Anybody have any idea of the weight of these two trucks? They both run and drive but I’ll probably trailer them home. The Diamond t is 300 miles away and the Mack is 450. Any guesses on what Cummins engine is in the Mack? Jake brakes and a turbo. the Diamond T has a 180hp Cummins according to the listing Mack LJSWX Diamond T 923

It is a 2004 FMTV Stewart Stevenson m1088a1. It was derived from the Austrian Steyr truck but built in the US

This m920 8x6 has a 400hp big cam Cummins cat 7155 air shift 16 spd. 52 inch tall 16 inch wide tires, full lockers on rear and unlocked front with air tag. Rear bogies rated 56k lbs it is a beast. The straight truck m919 has the same drivetrain with out the lockers but is 6x6.
