  3. I got to drive it with new engine for the first time yesterday. I' am pleased ...now i just need to get a rtoo 13spd. 52 mph tops those old 1674 wound a little higher.

I Really was watching the sale for the 1974 dm but when i saw what some of b models were fetching i couldn't help myself.

  7. it is a 3406c 425hp that came with air to air but i converted it to air to water because of space considerations. had to make a custom pipe to mate the bigger turbo to the manifold.
  8. 1674 wasn't cutting it so decided to replace it with a 3406. Almost done now. If anybody knows the filter number for this style power steering res. i would appreciate it.

  13. The 315s are run as duals. you won't like the price for new but the casings can usually be had pretty reasonably because refuse companies are about the only ones who run em for drives. Yes, they can be put on 8.25 inch rims it is not ideal ( it lowers the weight rating) but you will be fine for drives . The best thing about running them is they are tough.

  18. Back to work. After many years of neglect as a "site truck" for the previous owner The brockway started hauling again on thursday. The rebuilt suspension works Great.
  19. I f i' am understanding you correctly it sounds like you have a problem from your batteries to your ground. check those negative cables especial at the back of the starter
  20. They are reliable midsize engines ;however, as stated above they may not be enough hp. I wouldn't use one for anything over 36000 gvw if i wanted to get there in a reasonable time.
  21. I talked to my brother he has a used air up air down steerable. He wants $1800 for it. I'll try and get more details if you are interested. Its in PA but he might know of a load going your direction soon.
  22. Just did mine this past weekend. I painted the rims with metallic silver rustoleum from a rattle can. But i painted the hubs with mastercoat ac2000 with a brush.
  23. Sharp Truck. I just noticed the lever for the gate. I don't think I' ve ever seen another truck this new with a manual latch. Is this a Bristol Donald thing or personal preference?
