  1. I agree with Bulldogboy, I think that is a deluxe cab with a rear seat accessed through the officer's door but I'm not positive. Something about that truck is familiar, in particular the faired in lights and siren on the roof. The compartmentation is also unusual, inside mounted ladder and pike poles, the compartment door at the left rear looks like the double hinged type that frequently held a booster reel. I will have to locate my McCalls 100 years of fire apparatus, think that is where I saw it. C.R.S. Anyway, nice truck! Hope you have many hours of pleasurable ownership. Much knowledge available here and in SPAAMFAA.
  2. By the way, I have a B Model radiator with air shutters if anyone has a need. Same deal, no shipping, would bring it to Allentown.
  3. That's a beauty Mike!! That style was from around the 30's.
  4. Sorry, no Mack extinguishers this year. Have a nice pair of Seagrave early foam but no puppys.
  5. The Union Historical Fire Society Spring Melt firematic Auction and Marketplace is April 18-19, 2015. Always a good show! I have a pair of Mack B Model open cab doors that I can bring if anyone wants them. Also have other Mack stuff, especially bells. I will be in my regular spaces: 153 to 158.
  6. FYI this truck sold for $5500 plus 15%
  7. This is rather short notice but I am trying to assist the estate of Vincent Jarosz of Newmarket, NH with the sale of Vincent's 1942 Seagrave. The family has lost storage due to foreclosure and has decided to resort to an auction sale. The engine will be sold Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 4PM at the Gary Wallace Auction Gallery, Rte 16, Ossipee, NH. The auction is unreserved. The engine is a 1942 War Baby which means that due to wartime needs for chrome, the truck was delivered with all painted trim, no chrome. Engine has a Pierce-Arrow straight eight motor with 2 spark plugs per cylinder. Vincent had just spent a rather large amount of money in 2012 first rebuilding the original motor which did not come out well, then buying a 1941 Seagrave with the same motor, and having that motor rebuilt. Engine comes with a large quantity of spare motor parts. Apparatus includes: bell, siren, warning lights, three ladders, three hard suctions, suction strainer, axe, pike pole, booster with tip and a full load of hose. The truck was restored about eight years ago. I am posting a couple of photos. If there are any questions, please feel free to contact me at 781 983 1194.
  8. Rostands aren't all that hard to come by, in fact they have been selling a little slow for over a year. If you don't make out, let me know, I may still have an L model bracket and bell but I'm not sure. Thanks Mike.
  9. Very Nice Mike!! Now you just need the Super Pumper to round out the Mack Fleet. I think I may have some photos of this truck when it was delivered. If I find them I will send them along. Good luck with her.
  10. I have a pair of B Model firetruck doors for an open cab. Some parts missing like mirrors and door locks, other hardware seems to be there but have not had panels off. Price for both doors is $500, no shipping available. Also have a radiator from a B Model firetruck from same rig. Originally a 707C upgraded to a 673 diesel but unknown if radiator was upgraded with the motor. Price for radiator is $200, no shipping available. Items are located in New Hampshire Paul Romano email: paulromano@pipeline.com Thanks.
  11. There is a Mack B Model rescue for sale in Osceola, PA, there is a picture of it in service but can't make out the community. Link on Craigslist: http://williamsport.craigslist.org/cto/4483224999.html
  12. Thanks Mike, glad you liked the stuff. Loadstar, don't do many show, may show up at Lynnfield's Muster, second Saturday in June but not sure yet. Sometimes do the SPAAMFAA Nationals depending on location (trailer load gave us an average MPG of 10.3 and that was downhill to PA!!) Maddog, make sure you see us next year, I heard no complaints about our prices. Thanks to all that were able to stop by and say "HI", especially those that left behind some souvenirs!!
  13. We had a good show. Not so much from the "public" but some of our old customers (Sorry Mike--don't mean you're old!!) and some new. The buyers that were there were serious but no one wanted to pay asking price but "playing pickers" is old hat at the Ag Hall. I moved a bunch of stuff that we have been carrying around for a while but we are motivated sellers. Sold a pile of Mack stuff (Thanks Mike) and a lot of "heavy metal". Thanks to everyone that stopped by to say hi.
  14. Hi Mike: Sent you an email, looking forward to seeing you. Paul
  15. Hello All: I will be set up at the Spring Thaw and I guarantee that there will not be a single T-shirt at my booth. I will have some Mack stuff like a Mack Foam Extinguisher, Mack B & C Logos, Mack Rostand Bells (with your choice of B-Model Bracket, C-Model Bracket or L-Model Bracket. Also Mack mirrors, Mack hubcaps (NOS), Mack pump gauges, Mack manuals, Sock-type oil filters (only 2), B-Model hood chrome and more. Also ALF bells, Seagrave bell plus other bells, nozzles, tools (including a gen-u-ine Hugh Halligan original Halligan Bar), A pair of American laFrance Fire Engine Co. Dietz Lanterns, A Peter Pirsch marked Dietz lantern, American laFrance Motometer, lights, sirens and about 2200 lbs of assorted brass stuff. I am also bringing a quantity of toys like Code 3 and First Gear that I will be selling at VERY attractive prices. I am a motivated seller (which means my hard working wife is getting tired of loading 4000 lbs of what she refers to as: "Your **^&&*%%$^#$$**" into the trailer) so please stop by and help lighten the load. I am listed as Naumkeag Fire Company and I am at spaces 152-159
