    Hi Have a 1985 R685 with 1070B 12 speed trans It has 14' dump body on it . Telescoping cyl Body extremely slow in first and second gear . In first it spins 117 rpm at engine speed of 1500 rpm. It goes up great in 4th gear but can't tailgate spread going that fast do lot of driveways and site work Pto speed in 4th is 450rpm at 1500 engine rpm . Checked with photo tach . I like the truck a lot but I doesn't work for me the way it is . I took pump and body off another working international . Truck was junk but body and pump worked fine on that truck Thanks. Any info greatly appreciated Steve

    How many miles? Usually bearings have to much clearance from wear

    I don't want To sound like a jerk but Why does it need to be new ? Is yours broke? I have put in a few used reground in different Trucks and farm tractors . No problems as of yet . One couldn't find used so they built it up with weld Turned it down because it was already turned once So couldn't be done another time Good luck with your search Steve

    I read the 7.8 was built in Brazil 1983-1988 Not overly powerful but good on fuel as others Have said And parts depending on what you need Are getting hard to get . There is some about them On the dieselstop.com Good luck. Steve
