    Used Like the others already said dried out ,brittle ,butchered Mine didn't look to bad til I took it out wanted to crumble Everywhere . Not to mention fire hazzard Don't want to go to all that work restoring truck And have truck burn up on me . So I'm going to copy it using newer wire better insulated The mack museum sent me the wire diagram for it so that will help Build new harness as well as having my old one to copy Good luck with your project Steve

    Watts has all that stuff. But not cheap . Good luck with your search I have found used but usually Always in bad shape in need of Re chrome and repair

    Awesome job! My grandpa did that kind of lettering on trucks. And hand lettering of signs. I was 9 when he passed away from throat cancer And he to took the talent with him. None of his 4 Children learned a thing about it no interest to them. He striped as well like you see on lots of old newengland trucks And similar to yours jackb61sx How long did it take him to do your truck?

    We had similar issue and paint guy at Napa said it was the old Mack lacquer paint reacting with newer single stage urethane . Recommended completely strip it we used aircraft stripper because it was easy And panels were in good shape. Good luck with it. I look forward to reading the thread everyday thanks for posting!

    How is the ranger? Alternator survived ? I had similar situation once With shorted battery Next day had to put new alternator on Vehicle I was jumping off from but it seemed fine After incident .

    Navistar. ! Yeah my 2013 workstar Did that no lights at all on rear Bad connections high resistance burnt Up module because guys who put dump body,plow and wing on it Didn't do best job sealing it up . so 1400.00 later lights working again I had everything at trailer plug so if it happens agin Probably put in a junction box and run off trailer harness

    So what do you think Caused the crack in case? Water froze and cracked? Or previous transmission failure? Looks fixable though .

    I searched mack museum allentown pa On Google And found the info and Emailed them With serial number In about 4 weeks Came all the info they had And a service manual And at no charge so donations Are appreciated Good luck with your truck Steve

    I used commercial coatings From Napa when I painted my cab I liked it seemed to spray good Was fairly cheap as well
