  8. Why would he do that? I saw pics of it somewhere else Might have been on here few years Back . Could be wrong though. Regardless it sickens me All the work we do to preserve the Ones we find . Then just see somebody Just hack one up like nothing. I feel the same when I see pieces at scrap yard. That project I don't see ever being finished Probably be a bad ending

I don't know how they are coming up with that number We took his to pa from vt we were nice to it trying to see best mileage We could get with it best we could do was 16 mpg It is fun to drive ! But the rear tires don't last as long as they should . He takes it to the track about an hour from here I don't know the 1/4 mile time I don't see as much of him as I use to he got divorce and his ex and my wife are friends So he doesn't stop by much

  18. Never tried tig But have access to one My uncle was going to work on tig with me But he has Alzheimer's pretty bad so I will need to learn It the hard way He just can't do it anymore He sits and watches while I work on the b in his garage

  20. Hi fellas Looking for advice on welding aluminum with mig I have never tried it . Just got miller spoolmate 100 hooks up to my miller 211 Lookin for some pointers so I have an idea when I try to use it Have welded lots with mig on mild steel no experience with aluminum Thanks Steve
  21. Glad to hear it ! Can't make money if it ain't rolling I just talked a local contractor (dirt digger) in to going from 2006 binder to 86 R model I got to believe it will be better on His wallet . His international was laid up a lot with electrical and pollution issues
  22. Huh ! Maybe that is why my friends are 50 to 70 years old. And I'm 35 I try to learn all I can from older guys . Most guys my age and younger don't want to even work Talk about restore an old truck. Cut/ weld/ machine anything No clue .
