  3. I'm thinking the off set grill is for the air intake. The exhaust looks like it had an exhaust powered product blower on it. And it looks like it had an air starter at one time. With the large tank, tire valve filler, 2"-2.25" line and hand valve that's been disconnected, and a new looking electric starter. Even has an after market hill climbing helper on the right side of the cab. Wedge brakes are fine so long as they are maintained. My sons 6 pcs of CFWY antiques work fine. He carries the repair manual for wedge brakes with him should the DOT ask about them. lol .....Hippy
  4. '78 l was driving a contractors 10 wheeler (GMC 318/13spd) hauling snow for the city of Manchester NH. We would dump thru two holes (both sections were made to be lifted out) on the Granite St bridge into the Merrimack river. We did 12 hours a night for the city then go do our private lots. Still dumping into the river over a retaining wall just a different spot in the city. Didn't see the house for five days, just slept in the truck. .....Hippy 66dc75 That's a nice truck in your USPS picture! lol

  13. That looks like it would be about a '68 +/-. My first driving job was plowing for a contractor for the state of NH. lt was a six wheel dump with a gas motor. l remember it said "Much l do" across the hood. Lived in Mass but had to have a NH license to work for the state. So.....l had two, one from Mass (Class 3?) and the second from NH (Light commercial) with a Mass address on it! Try that today! .....Hippy
