l'm thirty miles away from a non-ethanol pump. We make the trip when needed and come home with twenty five gallons (5/5s) in the back. And top off the pick-up while we are there. .....Hippy

lDK? The drain pan he had sure didn't look very good. That was what made me think of the chance of algae. .....Hippy

Is it possible that it had some algae along with water in there? One of my trucks had a bad case of algae in the aluminum tanks. .....Hippy

Tom, Get a fire going and stick a steel rod or small pipe thru the handle on the jug. Then suspend the jug from side to side over the fire (and run like hell) till the jug melts. This works well with used oil in a five gallon bucket also. .....Hippy
