B model dual fuel tank connections

For a VERY VERY short time we parked 9 tractors on a slight side hill. Left tank was uphill to the right one. Fuel truck would come in and top ours trucks off in the early morning hours. First time we did it there was 100 feet of fuel spreading across the parking area when we got there! .....Hippy -

lf you have it apart, l'd go with a hose and a shut off on each end. Angle iron or a steel tube were used to hold it up. The tube or angle iron were held/hung on multiple different ways. .....Hippy -

l always understood that "U" was for ugly! One thing for sure with a U model. Don't ever forget to close the fresh air vent up behind the clutch pedal in a rain storm. Damn that thing can dump a crap load of water in the cab at 60 mph! lol .....Hippy -
