    yes and you would need to change the wiring harness .From injectors to ecm.

    Mack are not the best engines.But if they just been reman you have to baby them.

    How much horse power is the engine putting out.? Because jake brake work by releasing engine compression. Using the engine as a brake. So this in mine the system you have my be at fault.

    go with the mack soft ware if its up to date. And if you do not mind I like to know where I could get mack software for a gran.
